Just as they lost them, Marissa had turned her head and looked. Returning her gaze to the road she slammed on the brakes. It was too late though as the car careened off the side of the road. Kyle luckily survived the crash with only a few cuts, but he didn't check on Marissa as he ran for his life.
He knew that by now Kim and Yuriko had found the car and it wouldn't be long until they caught up with him.
