Ashley arched a perfectly plucked eyebrow as she watched the normally bubbly Jill's eyes dilate with rage. “Oh wait, did I forget to tell you? Your beloved D&D is actually super cool and fun! Maybe if you weren't such a socially clueless airhead, you'd know that!” Ashley said with faux sincerity dripping from every word. Jill glared at Ashley but said nothing in return. The once popular student felt like something inside of her changed in one brief moment as though someone had completely flipped a switch in her mind altering everything about who she was before. As they continued walking down the hall together toward class, Ashley decided it would be great fun to tease Jill some more since there were no consequences for herself or anyone else around them besides poor Jill obviously suffering. So Ashley inadvertently used the power of the ring again and said sarcastically “you know what would make Aaron even more irresistible to you? If he dressed up as Gandalf when you two eventually go out on your inevitable first date!” With those words fading away into open space between them, all vitality drained from Jill's features as suddenly began fangirling over Aaron constantly talking about all things concerning Middle Earth and referring frequently Will-the-Walrus' fan theories regarding specific details such as hobbits getting second breakfasts.
Ashley rolled her eyes as Jill continued acting like it’s her place to converse with Ashley and babble on about hobbits. “Oh my god, you really are a hobbit!” she said with disgust in her voice. “Get away from me, you freak!!”. And with those words, the ring once again altered reality to make it so that Jill physically transformed into a small, stout creature with large hairy bare feet resembling a hobbit from Middle Earth. Ashley couldn't help but roll her eyes and giggle delighted as she watched Jill scurry away on all fours like a true hobbit while passersby acted as if this was completely normal. What does Ashley do next?
