Jeff decided to leave well enough alone for now, keeping his non-binary lover/father as is for now and deciding to potentially fuse more people later on. Jeff hops in the shower as the events of the day caused him to need to freshen up as he gets in the door to the bathroom opens and in walks Saph.
“Hey babe, mind if I join you?”
They ask with a smile. It was only natural for Saph to want to bathe with their boyfriend so Jeff let them in and the two started to rub each other down with soap. It was odd, sure he knew that this person was technically his father and his girlfriend, but for some reason Jeff could only see them as Saph, was the Chronivac altering his mind somehow? Jeff shakes these thoughts aside as he and Saph finish up in the shower and dry off, Saph gives Jeff a kiss as they finish and asks something as he gets dressed.
“So where do you want to go for dinner?”
Saph asks as they finish getting dressed.
“I don’t know, there’s that new Italian place across the street…”
Jeff said, not really being prepared for this line of questioning.
“Then it’s a date! I’ll be sure to let your mother and Natalie know.”
It was odd, to have what would’ve been considered a family outing only yesterday be referred to as a date, but that was the reality Jeff had created for himself, and while at first it felt strange, Jeff was really starting to get used to this reality, he found himself liking Saph much more than he thought he would, but then Jeff remembered the chronivac. Perhaps Jeff could spice things up even more, but how would he do so?
