Rick decided to make himself 2. After all, he might as well relive a time he could not remember. Like most people, his earliest memories dated from the age of four. Reliving what he had missed sounded more fun. So he pressed the button and waited.
He did not have to wait long. Rapidly he felt the room get impossibly larger and his clothes became way too large. Soon he was tangled in his own T-shirt like a weird oversized dress and this only made his movements even more clumsy. He flailed about, wobbled on rickety legs and after failing to get away from his own former garment, he fell upon his bottom and was left fighting the T-shirt with his short arms and pudgy hands and fingers. Digits that were absolutely useless! As Rick was fighting his own weaknesses and limitations, he did not hear a nurse stepping in.
"Oh my," she said in a sweet voice. "Did some get a little too young?"
Rick looked at her with his big clear blue eyes. The nurse laughed and picked him up, still tangled in his own shirt.
"Let's you cleaned up and all set, all right?" she smiled.
Before Rick could protest, his shirt was removed and thrown into the trash and he was washed, diapered and put in toddler's pyjamas. He was then placed in a crib with toys. Figuring it was for him to enjoy his time as a toddler and it was just part of the resort - and also being happy at not fighting with his shirt anymore - Rick decided to just play with the toys and do what he had desired to do when he had pressed the button of the machine. He did not wonder about his shirt now in the trash and why it had been dumped. This was because Rick was about to get adopted by fays in their own realm. Rick was to be bought and then auctioned off for adoption, perhaps being transformed further and making a new family happy.
