A Game of Change

Anything for a friend.

added by THE MAD TITAN! 21 years ago

Sue was eager to roll the dice and get on with the game. She hoped that with her roll would land her on a square that would change her into anything as long as she wasn't a pig anymore.

She tried to pick up the dice, but her hooved hands couldn't grasp the dice. "Could you give me a hand?" she asked Jerri, who placed the dice on top of Sue's outstretched hooves.

Not being able to shake the dice, Sue simply dropped them on the board and hoped for the best. The dice bounced once and landed on a five. Sue watched as her game piece moved five spaces and stopped on a yellow square.

"We haven't seen a yellow card yet," Cyndi said as she brushed hair out of her eyes.

"Here's hoping it's something good," Sue said as she reached for the top card in the yellow deck. She stopped short, realizing that she couldn't pick up the card with her hooves.

"Man this is getting annoying," she said to no one in particular. "Jerri, would you mind."

Jerri complied and place the card face up in front of Sue.

"Place your last change on a neighbor," Sue read.

"Shit," Cyndi said angrily. "This is just fucking great."

"What are you complaining about," Joy said angrily. "Jerri and I are sitting next to her. We're her neighbors."

"Hey, that's right," Cyndi said happily. "It's bad enough being bigfoot with beachballs, without being a pig too."

"But wait a minute," Jerri replied. "Diane's room is next to Sue's, so technically she's her neighbor."

The girls argued back and forth for several minutes about who exactly was Sue's neighbor.

"Looks like you have a choice to make Sue," Cyndi said as she leaned back in her chair. "The card didn't specify. So you get to pick either Diane, Joy or Jerri to get your change so you can return to normal.

"Hey, this wasn't my idea," she replied. "It's the game, not me."

"Go ahead and make a choice," Joy sobbed. "What else can go wrong?"

Sue thought about her predicament. While she didn't want to be a sow anymore, she knew that whoever she picked would hate her for her choice.

"Okay guys," Sue began, "This wasn't my idea but I have to do what the card says. So I have to choose between Diane, Joy and Jerri on who gets..."

Sue's voice trailed off as she felt something strange. She looked down and noticed that her body was returning to normal. Her hooves changed back into fingers, her extra breats receded into her torso and her snout and muzzle reformed into her normal mouth. Even though she was sitting at the table naked, she was happy to be normal again.

"It feels good to be normal again," Sue said as she ran her hands over her body checking to make sure everything was okay. "But I don't get it. I hadn't made a choice yet."

"I think you did," Cyndi said as she pointed a hairy arm at Diane's chocolate form.

The girls all turned to see Diane changing into the half woman/half pig that Sue had just been. They watched as Dian'es nose turned up and pushed away from her face, forming a wide muzzle. Diane's ears elongated into points and moved to the top of her head. Even her long lion's tail shrank and curled into the usual pig's tail.

Diane looked up and scowled across the table at Sue. "Thanks a lot neighbor," she said with an angry squeal.

"But I didn't choose yet," Sue said appologetically.

"Actually I think you did," Jerri said with a smile. "Technically, each of us, except Cyndi, are your neighbors. And seeing as you said Diane's name first, thats who got the change."

"I'm sorry Diane," Sue pleaded. "I didn't mean too."

"It's bad enough I'm made of chocolate, but now I'm a chocolate pig woman," Diane said with a huff.

"Hey, you're the one who bought this stupid game," Joy said. "Serves you right."

"What do you mean by that fatso," Diane snorted angrily.

"Enough," Cyndi said forcefully. "Getting pissed off at each other isn't helping anybody. We're all in this together so we might as well make the best of it. Besides, once its over we'll all go back to normal. So roll the dice Jerri and let's keep the game moving.
