The Arcade

Andrew The Baby Girly Dragon

So Andrew then decided to out the ring on. Immediately he felt himself engulfed into a blazing fire. It hurt, yes, yet not as much as it should have. The part of his digit that held the ring felt more scorching than the rest but as much as he tempted to take it off, it was of no use. It did not budge or move the slightest, whereas it had slid effortlessly upon his finger, as though it had been made for him and him only. It had felt auspicious, very much so, but now it just felt as a complete curse.
And before he knew it, it was over. The very uncomfortable pain and burning sensation. Even the horrid scent of smoke that had assaulted his nostrils. Everything fell silent. He was clearly not in the arcade anymore. Suddenly, Andrew sensed two impossibly large hands grab him and placed him in a box. No. Not a box. A cage. Then the top of the cage slammed shut and was locked. With a real lock, not a simple mechanism that any creature with a brain could figure out. Terrified, Andrew shook the bars of the cage. That was when he noticed his hands were gone, replaced by paws with talons and scales. In fact, his entire body was covered in scales! He was a dragon, along with wings and spikes and all! A real dragon! The ring had spoken the truth! But why was he in a cage?
The answer came as a face appeared into his view from the other side of his cage. It was a bearded man. His beard was longish and black, and he wore deep red robes. His fingers were adorned with rings engraved with weird symbols. A wizard. Or a warlock.
"Help! Get me out!" pleaded Andrew in a thin voice.
"Why? You put on the ring of your own will. You got transformed into a dragon. No one forced you," he said gravely but calmly.
"But the ring said..."
"I know what the ring said," cut in the man. "I should know. I created it. I leave it into the human world and whoever slips it on arrives here, as a dragon and transformed with my own specified details. Humans are very malleable to transformations and I sell the coming dragons. I transform my victims as I see fit, to better cater to the needs and desires of my clientele. The ring merely spews lies, which gullible humans are so very likely to fall for. but you became a dragon and you were happy to be one. So you cannot say you didn't want this, when all is said and done."
"But why am I so small?" cried Andrew.
"Because I made you into a hatchling. They sell so much better. Much, much easier to train or raise. Oh, and I made you female. Females tend to sell more easily these times."
Andrew took a look at his groin and sure enough, he saw a slit. Gone were his privates, replaced by an immature privacy, just waiting to develop through his own growth.
"No! Please! I don’t want to be a girl! Change me back! I don't want this!"
The warlock - because it was definitely a warlock - shrugged and told Andrew to stop his annoying crying or he'd make him. Andrew got the drift and fid not utter another word, even though he wanted to ask more questions. He could only wait and wallow in his own misery, wondering who would buy him. As for the ring, it was back in the mortal world, waiting for another hapless victim to pick it up and transform him or her into a dragon.
