"Alright, looks like this was a waste of time," Sheriff MacLeod said as he looked at the building with a shake of his head. "It must have been another prank call. An entire building vanishing and a forest in its place, that'll be the day."
"Yeah Kait, you shouldn't believe everything you hear," Adam commented as he looked over at Kait. The young woman looked confused as she stared at the building that was clearly still standing there.
"But... I was the one who reported it, I saw..." Kait said, but the magic of the glade affected her too. She shook her head, wondering if maybe it had just been her imagination. "Right... must have just misheard someone."

The Sheriff and his deputies headed back to the station. There wasn't a lot they could do right now, so the rest of their day passed without incident. Sherif Macleod climbed into his car and headed home, still thinking about the strange experience with the apartment building earlier. He shook his head as he pulled into his driveway and climbed out as he headed for the door.
"I'm home," he said as he walked inside.
"George, honey, its so good to see you again," his wife Maggie said as she came up and kissed him on the cheek. "Anything interesting happen today?"
"Not really, just a false alarm," George answered as he took his wife's hands in his. "Did you have any luck at the Doctor?"
"Unfortunately no," Maggie said with a sigh. "They said that we're probably not going to be able to have children, not without some serious medical help."
She closed her eyes and started to cry. George wrapped his arms around her. They stood there for the longest time, the two of them had been looking for a way to have a child since they had been married, with little luck. The Doctors said that there wasn't a lot they could do beyond maybe some experimental procedures that would cost them way too much money. They sighed a bit, there was nothing to do but hope for a miracle.

As Maggie drifted off to sleep, George stared up at the ceiling thinking about what had happened today. There was something weird about that trip to the apartment complex. He swore he remembered the forest and even going into it to try and look for anything, but his mind was telling him that was wrong. He looked over at Maggie, and smiled a little as she seemed so peaceful, a smile on her face, she was clearly having a nice dream.
He sighed and laid back and closed his eyes. He needed to sleep anyway, he pulled the blankets over himself. He felt himself drifting off to sleep, still thinking about what had happened earlier.

George rubbed his head as he sat up. He was no longer in his house, but instead in an elaborate throne room. Seated on the far end in a throne was a woman more beautiful than anything he had ever seen. She was dressed like a Queen in a long elegant dress and a gold and silver circlet resting on her head. Her pointed ears made her look like an Elf, but... that didn't make sense, did it?
"What are you... where..." George started to say before he felt a hand on his. He looked over to see Maggie standing next to him in her nightgown. "Maggie?"
"She told me everything," Maggie said. "She can help us."
"She can?"
"Yes, I can, my name is Alisariah," the Elven Queen said with a smile as she crossed her legs. "Magic can do a number of things... perform miracles. You two want a child... I want something as well. So, how about we make a deal? I will give you exactly what you want, a child, but you have to join my service. We can both have what we want."
Maggie squeezed George's hand. He looked at her and she nodded a little. What choice would they mare?
