James and Nicola sat in the car still in a state of disbelief at the bizarre situation they found themselves in. On top of that Nicola was still seething at having been briefly transformed into a stapler then restored fully nude in front of her friend and new boss. It was James who broke the awkward silence.
"So, when you transformed what was it like? Did it hurt? Were you still conscious?"
"It didn't hurt but I was conscious of everything. You grabbing me, him grabbing me and using me like I was a piece of office stationary." Nicola blushed.
"Well, you were.." James reasoned before thinking better of it and deciding to address the other elephant in the room "You know, when you turned back I looked away immediately. I only saw you naked for half a second.."
"Just drop it!" Nicola huffed as she looked through the dossier they had been handed "So they want us to investigate this stupid dog show. They think it is a money laundering operation or something and the animals are being mistreated. Well, you can be the dog!"
"I don't think it's us who decide that" James answered.
"If you win, I wonder if I get to keep the prize money?" Nicola continued ignoring him.
"Who is to say either of us will become a dog? Maybe there are other ways to go about this"
"Yeah, right" Nicola sighed as she looked out of the blacked out window and the car pulled up at the venue.
