Octavia sat beside her boyfriend, as she typically did. She was pretty popular, but since getting her new boyfriend she’d been spending the majority of her time with him. They both sat in the park, beside a few cute trees.
Octavia was wearing a cute pink top to show off to her boyfriend, as well as skirt and some cute boots. Her hair was long and brown and curly, and she often liked to wear lipstick. They were both nineteen.
As he droned on about the latest TV show he’d been watching, she simply stared into his eyes, appreciating his somewhat good looks that masked a kindhearted weirdo.
“Babe?” Her boyfriend, Ronny, asked,
“Yeah?” Octavia replied, snapping out of her trance,
“Does that sound good to you?”
“Uhm, sure! Why not!” She said confidently, knowing nothing about what she’d just agreed to.
“Awesome! I’m so glad you’re on board. It should just be you playing, if that’s cool.”
“Sure. Okay? E-explain the rules again?”
“Okay. So you press this button,” he started, pulling out a large red button from his bag, Octavia looked at it quizzically, “then it’ll give you a transformation.”
Octavia sighed, “this is another transformation game?”
“Oh c’mon! You had fun last time! And this ones waaaay better!”
“But last time I had to play the whole thing as a guy…” she complained,
“This one won’t do that… well that’s not the point of this one.”
“Fine. What do I do in this one? How do I win?”
“You press the button, and each time it’ll trigger a different transformation. Sometimes they go off the last change, sometimes they’re just random. It’s a mixed bag.”
“And there’s no cards?”
“Nope.”
“No reading?”
“Nothing. Just pressing the button.”
“Okay fine. It’ll be fine.” She said, psyching herself up, “how do I win?”
“You win by being the one who is the least embarrassed.”
Octavia sighed again, “whatever.” She said, picking up her hand and slamming it into the button. It flashed red for just a moment before she started to feel the first change of the game…
