"Sam! Do something!" Tom shouted in panic as the minotaur approaches them. It's red eyes glowed like jewels but there wasn't any trace of humanity in them. The minotaur roared so loud that some pebbles fell off from the walls. Tom was in utterly terror but Sam who had recently turned into a minotaur too didn't flinch at all. But it's not because he doesn't fear the beast in front of him. His humanity was slowly fading away and right now he can barely recognize himself.
"Sam?" Tom asked when he noticed his friend didn't move and the menacing minotaur was getting closer to them. Tom wanted to run away but they're cornered, any attempt to escape will lead to the minotaur attacking Tom or Sam. "At least Sam can fight back in his new form..." Tom thought a second before he decided to run. However, before he can even move a foot, Sam turned around and faced him. Tom can't believe what he was seeing and he can't help but cry a little.
Sam's eyes, which Tom remembered with joy and happiness were gone. Now they were red glowing orbs full of hate and wrath. Any trace of Sam had faded away and now he was just another mindless beast just like the minotaur that came in. Tom's fate was decided if he didn't act quickly. His chance to run away has vanished and now he was cornered with two menacing minotaurs in front of him. He was broken inside, his best friend, the one he has meet since childhood and the one he had secretly fallen in love was gone.
Tom face was covered in tears of sadness and frustration, he doesn't know what to do. He could die by the hands of who he trusted more than anyone. But survival wasn't a choice either, he can't live a life without Sam. So, he only had one choice left. The minotaurs roared at the same time making a loud boom that shook the ground. Tom knew that was his only chance to do something, so he ran as fast as he could to the shining bottle that Sam has dropped on the ground. The minotaurs turned around, slowly but steady, so Tom had only a few seconds to drink the potion...
The remaining participants where walking through the maze's many paths when they heard the minotaur roaring in several occasions. The first time it was intimidating, however the second one was confusing because it sounded like if they're two of them. The third time it was the worst. It wasn't two of them, now it sounded like if they're three. They're panicking when the old woman's voice echoed through the ceilings. "Watch out, folks. Now there are three minotaurs in the maze. Hehehe!!"
