Once they got to the car, Caleb went into the trunk and pulled out two MP5s, Duke looked to the hunter and he gave a shrug,
“I always come prepared.” Caleb said as he slapped the guns. “Get Ann and Ken inside, I’ll keep her occupied!”
He ran forward and slid to narrowly avoid the kumiho’s lunge. Choon Hee spun around and used her tails to redirect her momentum towards the hunter, he unleashed a barrage of gunfire at the fox woman. She was unfazed by his guns and swatted them away with her tails and jumped on top of him. But Caleb had planned for this and pulled out two large, enchanted, Bowie knives and shoved them into the Kumiho. Choon Hee coughed up blood and jumped back with the knives still inside her, but Caleb reached out and the knives moved to return to him and pulled the fox woman with them. When they reached him he delivered an uppercut with his steel-toed boot and ripped his knives out of her, sending her crashing into another car.
The hunter got up and sprinted for Duke’s car, avoiding gunfire from more of the kumiho’s goons. He jumped into the back seat on top of Ann and Ken.
“Gun it! She won’t be down for long!” He yelled.
Adam put the gear shift in drive and slammed down on the accelerator, they practically flew out of the parking lot and swerved to avoid the other cars. Then a thump on the roof brought out an exhausted sigh from Caleb as he pulled out a high caliber pistol from under one of the seats and stated releasing rounds into the car’s roof.
“I know we’re in a car chase but come on!” Duke said.
When the young hunter’s gun was empty he pulled out a shotgun and rifle and slung them around his back, he unsheathed a sword and kicked open the car door and prepared to swing around the top,
“Hang on.” Caleb sighed.
Once he was on the roof the fox woman and him traded blows and she managed to shatter the sword. Caleb rolled onto the car’s hood and threw the broken blade at her, giving him enough time to load his shotgun and blast the Kumiho off of the car and onto the Normal car chasing them.
“I can’t see!” Adam yelled.
“Yea yea.” Caleb grunted and threw his shotgun back into the car and loaded his rifle once he was on the roof again.
He laid in his stomach and sent two bursts that blew out the front tires of the car Choon Hee had landed on and sent it swerving into the other Normal car chasing them.
“Nice shot!” Duke said.
“I was aiming for the driver.” Caleb replied as he re-entered the car.
The hunter kept his rifle aimed out the back window as they drove, unsure if they had lost their pursuers or not.
“What do we do now?!” Duke asked.
“We’re going to need some help, but we have to lay low for a while—and not make any half assed meetings.” Caleb replied looking at Wyatt angrily.
The vampire hissed back and muttered under his breath.
Caleb turned to Adam and gave him directions to one of his safe houses they could stay in for the night. They couldn’t teleport to S.P.E.A.R HQ since the organization had acquired a shell-stone, they’d have to make their way back the old fashioned way.
