“Look and we just skip to it dad” Laura suddenly snapped. “Dear a Pet usually is for life not simply a Chrismas or birthday present if that” Goodwill complained “why even selecting them from the field out back I insist takes time”. “Except we’re not here for an adoption and we know from my friend Maxine” Laura continued while planting her hands firmly on the counter.
“A friend named Maxine?” Goodwill pondered slightly. “Maxine Owens. When she saw me after Thomas went for that ‘Over-sized breasts who think they equal bigger brains BIMBO’ who really makes others don all her work for her, it was she who told me about you and her aunt Lisa was currently the cat she and her mum look after”. “I see… well I’ll have you know willingness is a-” Goodwill started. “We’re not talking turning ‘Bimbo Benicia’ into an animal I’m going to abuse” Laura firmly insisted…
…“I want to be one myself” Laura continued. “Be fair you’ve got a secretive blog going that goes over what you really do” Matthew then confessed “Password protected via special invites type with the password written upon something a happy customer left you that only those that either saw the truth or were let in by those that do could know”. “So I see…” Goodwill accepted before returning his attention to Laura “And your absolutely sure about this?”. “Indeed. I need a getaway from humanity after what happened” Laura assured. “…follow me then” Goodwill then instructed.
Goodwill led the Howlets through the back doors of the store and through the fenced fields containing the various expecting to be adopted pets with many taking an interest. But before the Howlets knew it Goodwill opened and escorted them into this cabin that by the best look of things was right in the center of the field. The inside of which was very mystic-like in design with a few bookcases containing the expected books, a desk holding bottles and tubes though not the typical lab chemicals but mostly this wired pair of circles containing wired runes and linked by a simple line right in the middle of the main room.
“Again Laura. Are you sure about this?” Matthew asked. “No matter how many times you ask dad, I am” Laura insisted. “Well I best go over several details then” Goodwill then firmly instructed while adjusting his glasses “for your benefit Mr Howlet my transformations are not truly permanent, especially on children and I will insist on reviews. What I mean is at any time I can revert clients in these cases”. “But there are people who genuinely choose to be animals forever?” Laura guessed. “Rare but yes. But almost all my on-hand animals outside are offspring of those that went too far in the lifestyle” Goodwill assured “Only for females while pregnant do my reverting rituals fail to work, at least until after giving birth though often they might if only temps in arrangement require therapy after as the hormones both they and their partners in the act fall under can overtake them greatly”.
“Another thing about the offspring is they inherited their parents human lifespan which honestly never fades at that from said parents… honestly it takes the ‘A Pet for Life’ aspect much further, unless you’re a turtle anyway” Goodwill went on “And I must state but I’m maybe sure your aware that human tongue is not possible while transformed but you’ll still understand us”. “I understand” Matthew responded. “And clearly you’re her caretaker in this arrangement? Being here alongside her after all?” Goodwill inquired. “She’s my daughter so of course” Matthew assured. “Then… And I assure you this is a requirement… Laura is naked after we agree on what animal she’s to be she’s to be standing or crouching within the centre of the biggest circle” Goodwill instructed “Former requires an aquarium for fish-based forms of course”.
