A smile sat firmly on the Boss’s face as he gazed out the window of his conference room. Diana and Trisha had certainly made their father proud.
With the vampire realm in chaos and the wizards distracted, the Boss now felt they had a golden opportunity. All he needed was his trusted lieutenants to not kwt him down. As they now entered, curious as to why they were summoned, the Boss prepared to deliver his orders. "Good you've arrived," he stared, taking a sip of brandy. "Have a seat. We need to talk."
The group nodded, the Boss watching as his lieutenants gathered. With the exception of Villar, all now waited patiently awaiting the Boss’s instructions. "So first the good news," he stated. "Eastly you're a genius! I'd kiss you if you weren't firmly stuck in fifth grade." Eastly blushed, the Lolita scientist fidgeting slightly as she stammered a thank you. "Anyway my daughter's have given me some great news. We know the whereabouts of that Soul Drive Steph and considering both Catalysts are busy right now, she's vulnerable."
"You intend to kidnap this Soul Drive," Choon Hee asked, the kumiho raising a furry eyebrow. "What happens if the Catalysts return?"
"Well we're going to give them a reason to stay in the kitsune homeland," the Boss stated. "Thats why I want you to attack their capital." The Boss now glanced towards the rear of the conference room, noting the surly titan glaring at him. "Villar? I'm going to need to borrow some those, what call them? Voids."
"Why should I help you," Villar growled, his dark eyes burning into the Boss. "Oh don't be such a grump," the Boss scoffed. "I got a job for you too. I think you'll like it too. It involves Circes Park."
"I'm listening."
"Good," the Boss stated. "What I'm looking to do is attack Circes and the kitsune simultaneously. The wizards numbers have been thinned with some of them helping the vampires. I need to thin them a bit more." A murmur now rise among the lieutenants. The coup of the vampire royal family was a big undertaking, the Normal had invested quite a few resources into helping Vanessa control the vampires. "Boss," Rick asked. "Wouldn't that stretch us a bit thin? We invested quite a bit in trying to help Vanessa."
"Vanessa is a distraction," the Boss replied. "Do I look like the kind if guy that cares about vampires. I needed Vanessa to draw the wizards and S.P.E.A.Rs attention. She did that. As we speak a source of mine tells me a S.P.E.A.R team and six of the wizards friends are mounting a rescue mission. The vampires will keep them busy enough that we can do what we need to do before they come back."
"And what are we doing," Casseus asked.
"Taking Steph and the Hourglass," the Boss said. The others now raised an eyebrow, wondering what exactly was the Hourglass? "Judging by the blank stares no one knows what the Hourglass is," the Boss sighed. "So I'll keep it simple. It controls time, all of time and it's trong enough that it can even effect gods. We've seen what type of magic the wizards wield. Now imagine is having that and being able to erase some of the wizards and their allies from existence. You understand what I'm saying now?!" The group nodded, understanding what the Boss was insinuating. If they possessed the Hourglass they would find themselves on equal footing with the wizards.
"Thats why I want Villar to attack the park," the Boss continued. "Gather your Voids, take the Hourglass, and Hey if you can kill some of the wizards allies along the way, the more power to you." A malicious grin now spread across Villars face. Finishing off Lilith, Circe, and the anthros would be a fitting revenge. "That attack is going to draw alot of attention," the Boss said. "Alot of wizards are going to come crashing down on you Villar. That's why I want Choon Hee to attack the kitsune with an army of Voids. That will keep the Catalysts busy."
"And what about this Soul Drive," Casseus asked. "Thats where you and Hinata come in," the Boss added. "While the wizards are busy dealing with the kitsune and the park I want you two to take Steph. Without the Catalysts around she should be easy pickings. Just be careful, the Catalysts wife is a pretty potent wizard herself."
"I will assure that we do not fail," Hinata replied, bowing before the Boss. Under his hood the Boss grinned before turning once more to Casseus. "One more thing Casseus," he said. "That woman you've been seeing and her Boss. They seem like perfect candidates for Clean Slate." Casseus balked, he had no idea the Boss was aware of his relationship with Melissa. "Dont look so surprised," the Boss said. "There isn't anything I don't know about my people. You got your rocks off and have your fun but, all good things come to an end. Clean Slate the two of them and introduce them to Felicity’s magic bunny friend. That girl needs some more allies."
"Understood," Casseus replied, his voice low. The Boss now nodded turning to Dr. Eastly and Rick. "Rick the time has come," he said. "While everyone is busy with these distractions make your move against that deer girl or the Reaper. Steal their power and get out of there." Rick nodded, the Boss now focusing his attention on Eastly. "Doc," he said. "My daughter's tell me they learned the identity of the S.P.E.A.R agent at their school. Any chance you Clean Slate her and get her back to the school as a double agent?"
"Its possible," Dr. Eastly replied. "I would have to make some adjustments though."
"Do it," the Boss said firmly, dismissing the group before calling for Blackbird. The vampire woman now slowly walking towards him. "I have a special mission for you," he smiled. "Take a squadron of my best troops and finish of Jacob Moreland. Think you can do that?" Blackbird grinned maliciously, stomping her foot once before exiting the room. The Boss now leaned back in his chair, lifting his glass of brandy before taking a long swig. The plan was ambitious, it could go disastrously but if everything went as planned he would be closer than ever to finally destroying the Catalyst.
