"Fix this... Fix that... I don't want to look that fat. Make Chad look better," Matt complained as he went through touching up Michelle and Chad's wedding photos. Michelle had only asked him to take pictures, now she was demanding that he also enhance them. Of course he knew how, he'd been using photoshop for the last decade. But he also didn't want to.
Even if they had paid for his trip to their destination wedding, he still had to take off work and this was going to take some time. Fixing something in post is far harder to do than just retaking a picture. However, Michelle didn't seem to care. Every chance that she would get she would be texting him about the photos. 'Why aren't they done? Why are you taking so long? How am I supposed to put them online if they're not done yet?'
After a few hours of work, Matt needed a break. He started scrolling through his favorite websites. The longer he scrolled the more he noticed an add that kept popping up. It was far more than usual. Every time he changed a page refreshed, it was still there. Staring at him. 'Let AI do the work for you.' It was almost like it was directly targeted at him knowing full well that he was being overworked.
It was appearing so often that he finally decided to click on it. 'Editors rejoice, AI has come in to save the day. Edit hundreds of photos to your exact and desired specifications with just the click of the button. Create or change any picture to whatever you desire. Download now!'
Matt felt himself cringe at the thought. If something like this really existed, he knew he'd be out of a job. Anyone could do what he had trained for years to pretty much the same effect. However, he was also tired of hearing Michelle bitching. It was really starting to drive a wedge between him and Chad.
Reluctantly, Matt downloaded the program. It only took a few minutes before he was able to boot it up. Matt was surprised at how streamlined the whole thing was. There was a two boxes, one with desired elements and the other with undesired elements. A large button next to it said create. He scrolled down a bit more to see other features that he could add, but thought he'd just start with something simple.
'A handsome man standing in the gym with a red sleeveless shirt and black gym shorts, brown hair, muscular.' He added to the top line, then the second one he wrote, 'female, outside, low resolution,' and a few more. He then clicked the 'Create' button. It felt a little ironic, since it wasn't exactly creating so much as gathering several other creations together to make one image. After a few minutes the loading bar filled and Matt was staring at an incredibly handsome man in a gym, wearing a red sleeveless shirt and black athletic shorts.
More surprising we how well defined his muscles were. He really did look like a bodybuilder. It was so strange seeing how far AI had come. It actually looked like an actual photo of someone. He stared in disbelief.
Matt weighed his options and decided to use the tool. If it could make this real of photos, then it could easily touch others up. He clicked on the ImgtoImg tag and uploaded a picture of Michelle. He made sure to delete all the information in the boxes, then clicked on the create. After a few minutes the photo is finished with the alterations.
