"For our special coverage of the Year of the Dragon, not only will we be doing "standard" coverage of the events, but a few people will be getting exclusive shots in unusual ways." Said Miles, after a question block about Dinotopians, "Case in point, when Sophie and Roland will be taking part in the Sky Dragon Competition, they'll be wearing special "camera-bands" on their crests in order to get "front row, center seats" to what it would really be like to fly. "For the first part of colony news," said Miles, after a commercial break and another question block. "In what can be only described as the 'welp moment of the century', both China, Japan, and even the Korean Peninsula have looked at the small islets between them that they've feuded over for centuries and realized that a solution for multiple Animalia colonies had been staring them right in the face ever since Animalia started." (Gif of mass facepalms and awkward laughter) "So, right now, they're doing a flyover of the various islets to see which ones are 'available' for Animalians to move into."
"Speaking of which," said Miles, after another commercial break, "Ryouiki Island is now in Stage 2 of development: building the residences for humans and/or Animalians. However, for all those who are excited for Samurai Prep, the actuality of the matter is that "Samurai Prep" is more likely to be a landed noble mansion and surrounding peasant village rather than a 'modern' high school." At that, there were lots of digital groans of disappointment, "That's because ninjas, according to the few historical records there are of them, have to be as unobtrusive as possible, and were more likely to disguise themselves as peasant farmers or hermit monks rather than by wearing the pop culture "black bodysuits". Those are actually tied to the costumes prop handlers wear in traditional Kabuki and Noh plays, and the outfit became conflated with ideas of speed and sneakiness.
However, there's one legend that states that, in order to get the 'ninja assassination' effect that he wanted, one theater owner supposedly had one of the prop handlers suddenly reveal a knife and 'assassinate' one of the characters in a certain play."

"Also in colony news, Ao Guang Island's development has sped up a little bit, due to Aiko's desire to have it at least partially ready by this summer." continued Miles, after a few clips from the Year of the Dragon competitions, "So, while Aiko is a little appreciative about it speeding up a little bit, she now needs to focus on getting the island staffed."

"Finally," said Miles, after another question block, "one of the Animalians that's really making waves is Charlotte, Animalia's first and, so far, only, herm rabbit Animalian Bodybuilder. This is partly due to her size, her Russian accent, and the fact that she's now Animalia's second largest Rabbit Animalian (with Bunni Clair and Rockwall taking the top spot." Miles then uploaded several clips taken of Charlotte attracting different kinds of attention while working out. Clearly the most hilarious ones were those (both men and women) who were attracted to hir, flirted with hir, only to instantly regret it once they learn that shi's a herm.
