The other said:
"I don't know, but I want to go see!"
They were getting closer and closer to her hiding spot. She got nervous and started to sweat, wondering what they would say if they found out that she was lying here. Jen closed her eyes, expecting the worst.
She heard it, a little girl's voice, but much closer than before. She heard her say:
"Looks like a superhero mask."
Jen opened her eyes and saw the children picking at her clothes. One of them was examining her red panties. She could hear them giggling and saying that her panties were red, just like the mask.
"He is sure?" asked another child.
The other said: "Yes, it's exactly like the mask."
The little girl put Jen's panties on her head. Then she said:
"I look like a superhero? I look like a superhero?"
"Is there more superhero stuff?" One of the children said while going through Jen's clothes. "I found something." The child had Jen's red bra in her hand. She held it up in front of her, and then put it on her head, saying: "Is that also a mask?"
"It looks more like a helmet."
"It's a helmet for superhero."
The child placed Jen's bra on her head and said:
"Now I'm a superhero! Look at me, look at me."
"Oh my God, I'm a superhero!"
Another child said: "It's not just a superhero mask." She was talking about the clothes Jen was wearing. "There are more things here."
The child who was wearing the bra as a helmet said: "There's more? Let's see."
The child picked up Jen's shirt. The child said: "What's this? Let's see." She put on Jen's white shirt and said: "Oh, it's a cape!"
"Wow, I'm a superhero."
"I look like a princess!" Another child found her skirt.
"We are all superheroes now." The children began to talk and laugh out loud. But Jen was still hiding under the bushes, and she heard nothing but laughter. The children were all having fun with their new superhero clothes. She thought, "What if my parents find out?"
“There are gloves here too." The child had Jen's shoes and socks in her hands.
"We look so cool!" Another child was wearing Jen's shoes as gloves. "Now we are all superheroes." The children began to talk and laugh happily.
"Let's go to the playground."
"Okay, I'm going to be a princess."
"I'll be a knight."
The kids ran away, taking all of Jen's clothes away from her, on the other side of the park. Now she felt embarrassed, naked, and humiliated. All because of a flea.
