Over the next few days, Andy would look at the people he'd always watched online. He loved seeing their big muscles and watching them workout. Of course with how big and bloated many of their were, it was obvious that they were on something. There was no way to get that big and strong with muscles that were as big as someone's head without being on something. Andy only minded because it gave a lot of really gullible people the hopes that they could achieve that kind of dream body by just doing standard workouts when in reality you needed to be on all kinds of enhancing drugs.
However, as he watched several of his favorites, he couldn't help but snicker. It wasn't huge, but it was noticeable. Several of them had lost nearly 10 pounds of their muscle making their huge powerful frames not look quite as big. Their biceps no longer measured 20 inches nor did their shirts push as tightly against their pecs. Even massive guys with roid guts would have their bellies start to deflate.
Then there were the comments. All of them were completely confused. 'Is so n so losing muscle?' 'Why does so n so look kind of small?' 'I thought so n so was bigger... =/' Several of them had gone to turning off comments. Others posted their new weights asking for some kind of help.
"It actually worked..." Andy stared at his phone in disbelief. He never thought something like this was possible. But there was no way it could be happening to this many people at once without it becoming some kind of trend.
Tristan burst through the door. "Hey. You're gay," he declared at Andy.
Andy felt his face scrunch in frustration. "Yes. I am..." he glared.
"Yeah I know. You're always checking me out," Tristan added. It was only partially true. He threw up his arms to flex. "Do I look smaller to you?" At 6'2" and 215 pounds, he did have a powerful build, but he too had lost about 10 pounds making that 215 build into a 205 pound build.
"I don't know... Maybe a little," Andy feigned ignorance.
"BRO! I lost like 10 pounds!" Tristan shouted. "I'm still hot. Right?"
Andy felt like it might be some kind of trap. This wasn't a question he felt right answering. "Yeah?" he answered honestly.
"Good..." Tristan almost seemed relieved. "I knew I was..." His confidence shot right back up as he left the dorm room again.
"Asshole..." Andy uttered under his breath when he knew Tristan was out of earshot. However, it gave him a bit of an idea. He went back to the book and thought about steroids again. He went to the last page and added another line. 'As the changes to their continue, another change is occurring, those who are losing their muscles are becoming more attracted to and dependent on gay male validation.'
Andy watched as the ink dried and change into the normal typesetting. He closed the book.
