Jeff and Valerie get on a bus and start to drive through the city, after a while, Jeff notice that the houses are starting to become more and more abandoned looking, he turns nervously to Valerie, “where are you taking me this time?”
Valerie grins, “you’ll see,” she simply says.
The bus stops at a bus stop outside of town, “we are pretty far out of town,” Jeff comments as they get off the bus.
“Well, the location we are heading IS to big for the city,” Valerie says as she starts to head towards a unused dirt path.
Confused, Jeff follows the girl, after a while he spots a huge building, coming closer he can make out that it must once have been the main house of either a huge farm or a ranch. The house appears to be in a really bad shape: all the windows are smashed, and it appears that the roof has collapsed.
“Welcome to the “Eden Ranch”,” Valerie says.
“This place is beyond creepy,” Jeff mumbles, “how come you know about this place? It looks as though it’s been abandoned for years!”
Valerie nods, “I don’t really know what happened,” she says, “this once was a amazing Ranch, run by a wealthy family. I was here as a kid for summer camps, it has always been fun, they had Horses, Goats, Pigs, Donkeys, Chicken, Bulls and Cows”.
“What happened,” Jeff asks.
“As I said, I don’t know,” the girl replies, “one day the family just packed everything and simply disappeared, since then this place has been abandoned”.
“Wow, that’s weird,” Jeff says.
Valerie nods, “rumors are circling that the place is cursed,” she says, “apparently it is supposed to be haunted,” the girl rolls her eyes.
“Well, it DOES look like a haunted location,” Jeff says.
Valerie scoffs, “oh, please,” she says, “ghosts are NOT real!”
“True,” Jeff says, “but you have to admit that it does have that vibe!”
Valerie rolls here eyes, “whatever,” she says and with that the subject ends.
They soon arrive at the abandoned barn, which surprisingly looks in a much better shape than the main house, “I assume this will be my “home” for the time I’m your Horse?”
Valerie nods, “yep,” she says, she then notices Jeff’s fearful expression, “oh come on,” she says, “you’ll be fine!”
“I’m not so sure,” Jeff replies, “this place… I… I have a bad feeling about it! What if I get attacked by some wild animal!?”
Valerie rolls her eyes, “use the App to fix the barn and make it secure,” she says.
Jeff scratches his head, “I… guess that’ll work,” he says, “okay… so, what Horse am I supposed to become?”
Valerie grins, “an American Quarter Horse,” she says, “they are perfect riding Horses and just look majestic!”
“Okay,” Jeff says, taking out his phone, “first, I’ll fix the barn and make sure that no animal and human can enter, then you tell me how exactly you want me to look like”.
“Make it quick,” Valerie says.
Jeff rolls his eyes, he then opens the App and scans the barn, when the barn is scanned, Jeff clicks on “repair” and the two watch in amazement as the barn repairs itself: the cracks and holes in the wooden roof and walls vanish, the rotten wood starting to look healthier and stronger, the large doors become more solid looking, the lock and latch lose their rust and soon a brand new and clean barn is standing in front of the two teens.
“Let’s check the inside,” Valerie says and they both enter.
“Wow,” Jeff exclaims, “the App even repaired the stalls and even filled each with hay, there is even food and water, and even Horse equipment! This App is truly amazing!”
Valerie nods, “I agree,” she says, “now, this is how I want you to look: I want you to look like a four year-old American Quarter Horse with white fur, white tail and a white mane. I want you to set the duration for two years and I want the transformation to take two hours, I want to watch and enjoy you transforming!”
Jeff’s eyes widen “TWO YEARS,” he shouts, “wh-why so long,” he asks.
Valerie grins, “why not? I don’t know why you are acting as though I’m punishing you, or this being something bad. I’m doing you a favour: you won’t have to attend school for two years!”
“Yeah,” Jeff says, “but two years? I don’t know if I’d like to be a Horse for that long!”
Valerie grins, “I promise, you’ll enjoy it,” she says, “heck, you might even NOT to want to transform back!”
‘THAT is what I’m afraid of,’ Jeff thinks to himself, but knowing Valerie, he won’t be able to change her mind, so he just sighs, “okay, fine, two years, but not any longer!”
‘We’ll see about that,’ the girl thinks to herself, “promise,” she then says, “oh, and don’t worry, since animals don’t wear clothes: I won’t judge you for stripping naked in front of me!”
Jeff blushes hard and is about to argue, but he knows it’ll do him no good, so he simply sighs once again and starts setting up the transformation, forgetting to activate the reality alteration, before confirming the inputs. The teen shivers as the pins-and-needles sensation runs through his body, “which stall do you want me to be in,” he asks as he starts to strip out of his clothes.
“The first one,” Valerie says, Jeff nods and once he’s naked he steps into the stall and Valerie closes the door behind him, leaning over it, grinning.
Jeff, his face red, stands awkwardly in the middle of the stall, “um… while I’m your Horse,” he says, “will you see to my needs? Like, filling up my food and water?”
“Of course,” Valerie says, “after all, I don’t want my Horse to suffer or die!”
“How often will you… ride me?”
“Daily, if I can,” the girl replies.
“How will you call me,” Jeff asks.
“I thought “Faith” would be a nice name,” Valerie says.
Jeff thinks for a while, “I do like the name, it sounds neither male nor female, it sounds rather neutral”.
Valerie smiles, inwardly she is however smirking, ‘he… “Faith” is more female than he thinks,’ she thinks to herself, ‘hehe… because you won’t be a male Horse for long, Jeff!’
