Useing his magic, the titan now glided through the shadows. Villar wished to keep his distance for now, observing the strengths of the parks defenders.
For now the Voids were advancing. While a majority of the anthros fled, some remained, intermingling with the anthro demons that made up the bulk of the parks defenses. As Villar clouded himself in shadow, he could see that the parks defenders were much more organized than his first attack. While the Voids were causing casualties, it was not the same panic that had gripped the park in his first attack. "Keep going," he thought. "Find the ones leading this army and attack. Only then will you draw the attention of the other wizards." Villar crept further, biding his time before he would strike. As Villar finally crept closer to Circes castle, a smile cracked across the titans face.
Jack was here. The warlock son of Lilith and the standard bearer of darkness. The years had been kind for the young warlock, gone was the lean teenage boy he had fought four years ago. Jack was now a young man, his face mature and handsome framed by short dirty blonde hair. It appeared the young warlock had begun hitting the gym, his physique muscular and athletic. Jack now seemed to be organizing the defense with a surprising girl by his side.
Villar had expected Kellie Pendragon, the daughter of Merlin and Jack polar opposite. As the standard bearer of the light, this attack should draw her out into the open. Instead, Villar now noticed a teenage girl with blonde hair, dyed blue at ends. It didn't seem possibly for the titan. He had destroyed that timeline. How could Annie Pendragon still be alive? "No matter," he growled, the shadows slowly dissipating around him. "I end her existence tonight."
Annie was still in shock about what was happening. One moment she was finishing her date with Lilith Kane, enjoying an awkward yet tender kiss with the girl. Thr pairs kiss had been quick yet innocent before Lilith left with one of the Solar Guardians and Annie went to find her father. The next moment was chaos as creatures she hadn't seen since the war appeared. Where did the Voids come from?
Now Annie found herself with her father, fearfully watching as he now planned to repel the Voids that attacked the park. "Dad is mom coming," she asked nervously. "She's on her way," Jack replied, the young warlock trying to maintain his composure. He could see the apprehension on Annie's face, he was feeling it too. Still, the demons and anthros were looking to him to lead. If he didn't remain calm, panic would set in, and then they would be in real trouble. "Everything will be okay Annie. I promise nothing bad will happen to you."
As Annie looked to reply, the pair were now engulfed in a massive explosion. Annie tumbled, soaring through the air before crashing into a concession stand. Someone had used a spell, a powerful one if it could go unnoticed until the last-minute. The question was who? Voids didn't have magic, Annie knew this.
"Annie Pendragon."
Annie froze, the hair on the back of her neck standing on end. She recognized that voice but that was impossible. Villar was dead! Katie had killed him, it couldn't be him. Turning towards the voice, her eyes now focused on a masso shadows. The shadows writhed like some eldritch horror, slowly parting to reveal a massive human with soulless, black eyes. "No," she whispered. "It can't be. You...you're dead!"
Villar chuckled, a malicious grin spreading across his face. "I live again," he smirked. "You however, shall not have that luxury." Annie watched, frozen in terror as the titan Villar began to form a spell in his hands. Visions of her family dying, slaughtered by Villar and his minions front and center in her mind. She needed to act or Villar would finally destroy the last of her timeline.
A primal scream now escaped Annie's lips, her two rings glowing brilliantly in the darkness. She couldn't die here, she couldn't let her friends, her family, face this abomination alone. A surge of power now coursed through Annie's body. The teens eyes illuminating with a reddish light as she attacked.
Villar grunted, the teens magical blast knocking him backwards. Crashing through a wall, the titan tried to gain his bearings. At his full strength, Villar realized the frightened teens blast would have stunned him, in his weakened state though it left him momentarily stunned. Grunting he now erected a magical barrier around himself. He needed a moment to recover.
"Annie!"
Annie turned, watching as Jack now raced to her side. Glancing at her father, she could see the fear in his eyes. "You saw him too," she whispered. Jack nodded, hoisting his daughter to her feet. "I did," he said. "And so did they." Annie looked past to where her father was pointing, noticing her friends now gazing around in bewilderment. Somehow Annie had summoned her friends to her side. Mia, Winery, Zack, Faye, Pryyha, even Terumi now gawked at where Villar was. The friends now both anxious and determined to fight off the creature that had terrified them years ago.
