Nicholas manages to overcome his desire to enter the room and decides to head further to the library, not wanting to risk pissing off the wizard.
Entering the library, he is once again met with rows and rows of books, which he can surpringly read without problem. Looking through everything, he actually comes across a map... and several pieces of bug erotica, but that isn't important.
Looking around, he soon finds a table to roll out the map on.
It seemingly shows the local region, the wizard's place being the focal point of the map.
As it appears, there is a bug village on the other side of a small, grassy forest just to the northeast of them. Then, there is what appears to be a beehive to the west and a large cliff overlooking a river to the southeast. Interestingly enough, there are holes drawn into the ground there. A nest?
Arthur soon comes into the room, holding a backpack, his four legs carrying him to Nicholas.
"Making yourself familiar with your surroundings, I see."
Nicholas nods.
"I'd recommend that village. It's probably safest for you. You'll have to get through the wilds alone, so be careful unless you want to become a bug."
Arthur hands him the backpack.
"Here is a bunch of stuff we don't need anymore. You can keep the map. We have copies."
His antennas rise as he turns and almost stumbles over himself.
"Oh, and also have this book: The Guide to the Eternal Garden. Might become useful."
"Thanks for all of this." Responds Nicholas.
He is lead to the exit. Opening the door, he is attacked by a breeze of wind passing through the blades of grass.
This is it, his new world, at least for now.
