"Maybe we should try your sorority sisters," Diana shrugged. "We know Selena won't be recruiting from them, and they're more likely to be straight than the girls' soccer team. We can afford to let Selena snap up Erin and her girls. Your sorority will more than make up for it."
"Trust me," Luna grinned, "the guys of our pack will be thrilled to meet the sisters of Lambda Alpha Omega."
"Which ones are still in this state?" asked Diana.
"That's easy enough to answer, Di," Luna giggled. "I know all my sisters' social media profiles by heart. Jessica, Ally, Shannon, Laina, Corinne, and Morgan are all in Las Vegas together. Adrienne, Alice, Eliza, and Maddy are in New Orleans. Amy, Nicole, and Lyndsay are in Jamaica. Melissa, Madeline, Talia, Whitney, and Anne went to the Bahamas. Marissa, Hilary, Holly, and Vanessa are down in Florida. Elise, Bethany, Kelsie, Vivian, Casey, and Kylie booked a hotel in Cancún. Sara, Tammy, Carmen, and Bridget will be sipping cocktails on the beaches of Hawaii right now."
"Who does that leave up here in Washington state?" Diana asked.
"Just Belle, Brooke, Kristin, Crystal, Lauren, Kara, Lexie, Abigail, and Erika," said Luna.
"What are they like?" asked Diana. "Are they anything like, uhh..."
"Just say it," Luna groaned, rolling her emerald eyes. "You want to know if they're anything like me, meaning a horrid bitch. They're honestly a mixed bag of personalities. Belle Meadows is our sorority's resident eco girl. She's decided that it's her mission to save the planet. That's actually why she's still in Seattle. She's been spending her spring break going to local protests against pollution, animal testing, the meat industry, and other crap like that."
"Sounds like a girl who'd enjoy the close-to nature way werebeasts live," Diana nodded approvingly.
"Then there's Brooke McGuinness," Luna went on, "or, as we call her, Blackout Brooke. Brooke's a total party girl. I honestly don't think I've ever seen her sober. She's still in the state because her rich parents finally got fed up with her wild lifestyle and cut off her money. She's not a bitch or anything. She just likes to have a good time above all else."
"I assume that includes sex," Diana thought out loud. "Our guy werewolves are gonna be all over her, I can tell."
"Kristin Underwood's a totally different story," Luna continued. "Kristin's a folksy kinda girl who appreciates simple ways. She drives us all crazy with her country music. She also drives a jeep. She's still in Washington because she's spending spring break visiting Crystal on Crystal's parents' ranch."
"Crystal?" Diana asked.
"Yeah, Crystal Colton," Luna nodded. "Her parents own this big horse ranch just south of Tacoma. Unsurprisingly, Crystal grew up outdoorsy as they come. She'd much rather spend her spring break riding her favorite horse through nature trails than getting trashed in Vegas. She's Kristin's best friend."
"They both sound great for the pack," Diana laughed. "Doesn't get much more outdoorsy than a werewolf pack."
"Then there's... Lauren Frost," Luna frowned.
"You mean like the lady who made that My Little Pony cartoon?" Diana snickered.
"That's Lauren Faust, moron," Luna sighed, rolling her eyes. "This is Lauren Frost, the Ice Queen of Lambda Alpha Omega. Lauren is the way I used to be. She's sorta my archrival." Luna smiled teasingly. "Aside from you, I mean. Sisters get nemesis privileges, don't worry. Anyway, Lauren is the worst. The. Fucking. Worst. She's a cold-hearted bitch out to grind the world beneath her high heel. Worse, the bitch is as clever as she is vicious." Luna smiled and shook her head. "Heh, Mom'll probably love her to bits."
"Why's she still in town?" asked Diana.
"Lauren's billionaire parents were planning to throw her a massive party at their mansion to celebrate the first-year anniversary of her relationship with Tyler Colwell," Luna smirked vindictively. "Thing is, Tyler wised up and dumped Lauren yesterday. Lauren's been bombing me and the girls with panicked and furious texts nonstop. It's honestly pretty hilarious."
"Think she'd want a fresh start with a werewolf boyfriend?" Diana asked.
"I almost hope not, Di," Luna grimaced. "But I'm sure Mom would welcome her with open arms."
"Then I guess we have to invite her," Diana sighed.
"Yeah," Luna nodded, resigned to the grim task. "Anyway, there's also Kara Lovelace. She's really nice... if you have the energy to keep up with her. She's super perky and affectionate, and she just wants to be the world's friend. She's also pansexual, so expect friendship to turn into flirting real fast around Kara. She's especially obsessed with her little, Lexie Dove. She's always gushing about that girl like they were dating or something. Maybe they will be someday."
"Wait, what's a 'little'?" Diana asked.
"It's a sorority thing, Di," Luna explained. "Littles and bigs are short for little sisters and big sisters. Every junior in Lambda Alpha Omega gets paired up with a freshwoman to mentor. Mine was Brooke. It was a fucking nightmare trying to keep that girl sober enough to focus as a college student! Point is, Kara can't shut up about her little. It's always 'Lexie this' and 'Lexie that,' and 'Lexie's honestly cuter than my boyfriend.' It's a lot." Luna smirks. "Not that Lexie Dove isn't adorable as fuck. I swear, Lexie is two hundred percent too sweet and innocent to be around Lambda Alpha Omega's wild antics. And I'm pretty sure she loves Kara back. They're just about an official couple... a sickeningly sweet one, at that. Well, to the surprise of nobody, Kara and Lexie decided to skip the globetrotting to spend spring break doing cute besties shit together. I think they went strawberry-picking today." Luna rolled her eyes. "Ugh, lame!"
"And what's Abigail's deal?" asked Diana.
"Abigail Lei is, to put it mildly, an extrovert," Luna said dryly. "It'd probably be more accurate to call her a human-shaped firework. Sweet Lady Moon, that girl is LOUD! It's no wonder her surname means 'thunder' in Chinese! Everything about her is loud. When Abigail likes something, she whoops and shouts at the top of her lungs. When she's mad, she screams and swears at you. She drives a motorcycle. She's always singing along to those old-ass hair metal bands she listens to. Abigail wanted to go to Las Vegas with Jessica, Ally, Shannon, Laina, Corinne, and Morgan, but her conservative Chinese parents don't want her to spend spring break partying."
"That only leaves Erika," Diana remarked.
"Yeah, Erika Savage," Luna laughed. "Lambda Alpha Omega's resident psycho. Seriously, how can humans consider werewolves the violent monsters when Erika Savage is a human?! That girl's aggressive, violent, and totally lacking in impulse control. She swears like a possessed sailor, and she's constantly getting into fistfights. She's actually still in Seattle because she's serving community service for slashing up another girl with her nails!"
"There's another one Mom would love," Diana said, wincing.
"Well, that's nine potential recruits," Luna smiled proudly. "And all of them are either straight or bi."
"Which ones are bi?" Diana asked. "Seduction's a powerful tool for our recruitment drive, you know."
"Belle, Kara, Lexie, and Abigail," Luna answered. "Abigail and I used to date, actually. She was great in the sack, but I just couldn't stand the noise."
"On the streets or in the sheets?" Diana smirked.
"Streets," Luna laughed. "I actually like a girl who's loud in bed."
"I know!" Diana laughed. "I've heard Lucy through your door."
"You've got me there, sis," Luna giggled. "You know, you're not so bad. It's almost a shame we're in competition for the alpha succession."
"I'm still gonna kick your perfect ass!" Diana smirked.
"Fat chance," Luna chuckled as she took out her phone and started texting. "Well, I'll call the girls. We'll all meet at Brooke's place in Byron Heights. It's only a short drive away from Stokerville. Be prepared to show a bunch of sorority girls what werewolves are made of."
