Jeff scans through the presets list. His eyes widen, and a conspicuous smile lights up his face upon seeing the option that resonates with his thirst for adrenaline. "A racing game?" he says, surprised and excited at the prospect. "Now, that seems like an interesting ride."
Playing racing games always got Jeff's blood pumping. The thrill of high-speed chases, the strategic maneuvering to outrun opponents, and the breathtaking landscapes passing by in a blur. He would often find himself lost in these games for hours. But the thought of actually becoming part of the game was both intriguing and a tad bit unnerving.
"But I wonder," he murmurs, looking at the device with curious eyes, "how would that work? What would I be? Would I be the driver of a sleek, fast car or...," he chuckled slightly at the absurd thought, "would I become the car itself?"
Jeff begins to dwell on the possibilities, his mind swaying between excitement and unease. "Or what if I'm not even a car but an animal? Crazy as it sounds, it is a possibility with this thing," he mused, holding the device up before his eyes.
Before long, Jeff finds himself at the settings page. A blank space prompts him to set the duration of his game venture. "An hour, maybe?," he thinks aloud, considering the appropriate duration. "It seems a great amount of time to experience the game. And if it becomes too much, I can always get back earlier."
Now, with everything set, the only thing left to do was press "start." Jeff stares at the start button for a moment, apprehension and exhilaration melding, building up the tension. Closing his eyes, he takes a deep, fortifying breath and whispers, "Here goes nothing." With that, he presses the button, plunging himself into the unknown world of his selection.
