"First off, that collar will attach itself to your skin," Kyle began. "It will last that way for one week. At this time next week, it will seperate from you and can be taken off.
"However, between then and now, whenever someone asks you any question regarding that collar, you will turn partway into a humanoid golden retriever. As you continue becoming a dog-girl, you will become increasingly obedient to everyone, so much so that by the time your transformation is complete, you will be obliged to do absolutely anything you are told."
Jen simply stared at Kyle as he droned on about transforming. She had a hard time taking this threat seriously, although her actions when he put the collar on her in the first place caused a bit of fear.
"Finally, the only people who will behave as if your transformation is in any way odd or unnatural will be you and me," he concluded. "I hope you have a fun week." With that, he left the room.
Jennifer stood there for a moment alone, confused at what Kyle had just said. She shook her head and laughed to herself. "Weird guy," she muttered as she brought her hands to the collar.
She fumbled with the clasp, but for some reason she couldn't get her fingers under it. Feeling the entire collar, she realized that it had indeed merged with her skin. There was no way to separate it from her neck! The bells jingled as she struggled with it, but eventually Jennifer was forced to give up.
"The curse can't be real," she told herself. "There's no way..." She finally trudged back to the cafeteria, hoping she wouldn't find out just how real it was.
