Emily stirred awake as a ray of natural sunlight hit her face from from the enchanted skylight affixed to the ceiling of the bedroom cavern. With it, Emily felt immediately energized. Normally the polar opposite of a morning person, Emily’s wings became a shade brighter as the sun touched them. She felt an immediate draw to be out there, under the forest boughs and the sunlight, wings carrying her through the breeze.
Of course, on the other hand she was just as happy to sleep in in that moment too. She sighed in bliss as she felt the gentle weight of Leleth’s raven hair, slightly tinged with mauve purple, that covered over her breast as the succubus’ face rested on her chest. Down under the covers, Silverbrook’s tail entwined with one of her legs. Emily reached out her arms and drew both sleeping women in closer. She couldn’t make sense of it. By all accounts she expected a one night stand, yet lying here in the morning there was a clear and undeniable draw to these two that she couldn’t push down.
Then Leleth slowly stirred. “Well good morning, monarch. It’s no small feat to be awake before I am most days.” The demon smiled to her. She gingerly poked Brook in the side with her tail. “My siren has always been blessed to sleep like a stone.”
“Hey cut it out, m’not that bad…” Brook mumbled as she slowly started coming to as well, greeting Emily with a tender kiss on the nape of the neck.
“I was always a light sleeper, but I don’t feel tired, I feel rested.” Emily said as she sat up in bed to stretch her wings a little.
“It is gratifying. I used to suffer the worst farsightedness. Now my new eyes can see like a hawk on the wing. I only wear the glasses now when Brook, ‘wants to tease her sexy book nerd.’” She chuckled.
Emily and Brook joined the laughter.
“So what’s next for you, Em? You’ve got all the new world to explore and all the time to see it.” Brook asked, whilst stroking her thighs with her tail.
“Well, I’ve got magic I apparently don’t know I can do. Is there someone who can teach me that? Beyond that, I’m dying to go up there and catch some sunrise. Apart from that, I’ve gotta find home…” she paused
“The thing is though, you two have been so nice, and last night was so magical. It feels weird asking you this, since we just met; can I stay with you? Like… full time? I’ll help around the place and find food and make clothes and everything I jus-.”
Leleth interrupted her. “I would have you no matter what, and I don’t see my siren disagreeing.”
Brook nodded, “it happens sometimes in this place. When people here hit it off, there’s a chance a deeper bond can form. No one quite has a name for it, but when you look that special someone in the eyes and the butterflies get all fluttery… no pun intended, you know it’s happened.”
“We are fairly new to this plane ourselves. We haven’t yet had such a bold crystallize, until now.” Leleth continued.
“And you met two right out the starting line, congrats.” Said Brook.
“So… we’re like magic soulmates or something like that?” Emily asked.
“If you prefer such explanations, then yes.” Replied Leleth.
She turned her head to either side, kissing both women on the lips. “Girlfriends for all time then!” Cheered Emily. She felt her lovers rustling under the covers. It seemed they’d all be staying in bed a while longer.
