Returning to the lobby, Drew spotted Kate looking through the window. Sneaking up from behind, he wrapped his arms around her waist, giving her a tight hug.
Kate let out a surprised 'eep'. "Why'd you have to sneak up on me like that!" she blurted out, while attempting to pry Drew's slender arms away from her waist. "And since when were you so into hugging?"
"Mmm, you're so warm." purred Drew.
"Hey, c'mon, we can hug later" replied Kate, having failed to remove her now girlfriend's grip.
"It doesn't look like we'll be going anywhere soon" she said, attempting to get Drew to look out the window.
With a sigh, Drew released his grasp on Kate and moved to the window. The storm hadn't let up at all, the rain still coming down and dark clouds were swirling overhead.
"Yep, looks like we could be stuck here a few days." sighed Drew
"DAYS?!" jumped Kate, holding her arms up in despair.
"Hey, don't worry" eased Drew, pulling Kate into a hug, "We've got plenty of supplies here, we'll be fine"
Letting out a sigh, Kate wrapped her arms around Drew. Although she knew who she was hugging, because of their size changes she felt like she was hugging a child, which didn't help her panic too much.
"So how much longer until we can change again?" sighed Kate.
Loosening the hug, Drew looked up at the large digital clock above the reception desk, "Let's see, we came down here about two hours ago... so maybe ten and a half hours left to wait."
"ugh" grunted Kate, "Let's just head back to the executive suite"
"I've got some DVD's hidden up there, we could play them through the projector in the conference room, I'm sure that'd help kill the time." chirped Drew, skipping towards the stairs. Kate trudging along behind.

The time seemed to fly by for them both, marathon-ing the 'Lord of the Rings' trilogy. Moving one of the large sofas into the conference room gave them a comfortable place to sit, though part way through 'The Two Towers' Drew had snuggled up to Kate.
Drew was surprised how nice it was to be the little spoon for a change, but Kate was only growing more uncomfortable.
The few trips to the bathroom during the course of the movies didn't even faze Drew, but it only moved Kate closer to her breaking point.

With the movies coming to an end, Kate looked up at the faded wall clock.
"Thank god!" she beamed, "Only 5 minutes until we can end this suffering."
Quickly springing up from the sofa, she bolted for the door.
"Hey! wait for me!" called Drew, barely managing to get on his feet before he heard heavy footsteps thundering down the stairs.
