Drew walked up the row of suites, finding the Medallion about halfway down. He didn't look hard in any of the suites until after he found it, assuming that Kate would have taken the best outfit up to that point. If he wanted to win, he'd have to go farther.
Another couple of suites down, Drew found a suite that made him smile. Inside were outfits from a number of people, and Drew remembered them all. There was a wedding that was supposed to be happening at the rink in the next few days, and this suite held the dresses and suites for the wedding party. The manager had agreed to store them in the suite until the event. Drew knew that one of the well-dressed, handsome groomsmen would likely win him the contest.
He locked the door, grabbing the Medallion from his pocket and slipping out of his shoes. As he turned back, though, he failed to notice a chair and tumbled to the ground. As he did, he reached out and tried to grab for something...
And he felt a shock go through his body. He hit the ground as the Medallion slid from his grasp. He didn't watch where it went; he was too busy desperately trying to figure out what he had touched... and who he would become.
