Xavier realized he can't do anything to reverse May's spell on those guys. Their magic can't mix without bringing worse consequences. So, the best he could do was to make a reality alteration spell so they could integrate into new lives. That spell was very complicated and it would drain a lot of his energy, but he knew it was the right thing to do.
In order to cast that spell, he needed some preparations. Three objects in particular, one related to him, one related to the boys and one related to... his ex. He sighed. The first one was easy, he took some hairs from his arm and placed them in a small vial. May was over there, so she was his next target but he refused to talk to her.
She was drinking a bubble tea, so he got an idea. He waited until she finished her beverage and then he took the straw from the trash bin. It should work, he thought. He watched her leaving the mall like she did nothing wrong. Xavier sighed again, that's why he broke up with her, she is not mean but she's too selfish to think about the consequences of her actions on other people.
Lastly, Xavier needed something from the guys. It wasn't necessary one object per guy, he can do his spell with only one thing. But he needed to get closer to them and, considering it's very possible they're still having wild sex, it wasn't a very pleasant thing to do. However, he would do it anyway. He used some magic to disguise himself as a mall security guard and approached them.
