The next morning Will greets his class which consists of young children between 7 and 8 years of age, “morning kids,” he says in a cheerful tone.
“Morning mister Dr. Baker,” the kids say.
“You sound cheerful today, sir,” a boy with short blond hair says.
“I sure am, Ben,” Will says, “let me tell you the reason: I thought of a school project which all of us will enjoy”.
“Really, what type of project,” a girl with shoulder length red hair asks.
Will grins and takes out his phone, “I got a magic App on my phone which is able to change the reality and even transform people into various things,” Will says.
The kids, who’s minds aren’t yet mature enough and still think magic is cool, all look in interest at their teacher, “does it really work,” a boy with black hair asks.
Will grins, “it sure does,” he says, “watch this!”
The children watch as Will types something into his phone, then their eyes widen and all the kids gasp as they watch their teacher starting to shrink and look younger until an eight-year-old boy wearing a blue t-shirt and jeans with white sneakers is standing in front of the class, grinning at the other children.
“SO COOL,” the kids shout.
“You look so cute, sir,” a girl says, giggling.
Will blushes a little, “thanks,” he says, “being a kid again is cool, but I can’t stay like this forever!”
All the kids giggle, “you even sound cute,” a boy says.
Will blushes even more, “l-let me change back, then I’ll tell you all what I planned,” he says, after he is back to normal, Will explains his plan to the kids.
“So, you want us to devide into groups of two,” a boy asks, “one of us will think of something the other should become for two weeks?”
Will nods, “correct, and once those weeks are over, the other one will be transformed,” he says, “after a month, when all of you have experienced being something or someone else, you’ll write your experience down as a story. So, what do you kids think?”
All the kids look at each other, “let’s do it, it sounds like lots of fun!”
Will chuckles, “perfect, oh and don’t worry, your parents and the other teachers have been notified,” he says, ‘hehe… which is NOT true… but they don’t need to know,’ he then thinks to himself.
The teacher has the children then pick their partner and choose who should be transformed first, then he instructs the kid, who is not going to be transformed, to choose what his or her partner should become for two weeks.
