With Easter and April 1st being right next to each other, it was all but inevitable that they would spill into each other in one way or another.
---
The best example of this was when someone would offer large, plastic easter eggs to friends or family, only for them to release springy snakes when opened. Of course, in Animalia, said eggs were a lot larger, based off of the eggs that Chicken Animalians laid, and there were a larger number of springy snakes inside of the egg.
---
Of course, there are very few pranks that can match the over-the-top, extravagant craziness that constitutes a Japanese prank, and there were more than a few that were noteworthy, even more so since they featured Animalians.
A small group from both the BARA and ROSE Houses were invited to Heiya Island to attend the official opening of branches of both BARA and ROSE Houses, but occasionally members of either house was hit with a prank or two.
From ROSE House, both Sappho and Susan were primping slightly before a mirror before doing a speech for ROSE House (fortunately their daughters were still sleeping in their hotel rooms, and they weren't primping there) when suddenly a ghost appeared in the mirror! After the initial shock, the same ghost came crashing through the wall next to the mirror! The shock was all the more authentic because Sappho had absolutely no clue what was going on. Fortunately, a member of the camera crew recording the whole thing (who also spoke English) also came out of the hole to explain things.
From BARA House, a horse Animalian was taking a shower, and focusing on getting his fur nice and glossy, when Sadako Yamamura (the main antagonist from The Ring) "appeared" from a hole in the ceiling to pull the "eternal shampoo prank" on him. After a minute or two of continually washing foam out of his mane and fur, he was surprised to finally notice Sadako. Fortunately, he was forgiving enough to allow Sadako to retreat back into the hole in the ceiling, but not before he received a final warning: "Be aware, Yokai can be anywhere...".

While Easter and April Fools did blend together somewhat, it wasn't enough to stop several easter traditions, such as Easter Egg Hunts. In fact, the risk of finding eggs with springy snakes seemed to make the activity more fun and exciting.

In some cases, Easter was being used as a time for new beginnings, especially with double-dosed conversions. For example, one elderly woman from China had chosen rabbit for both Lotus Foot Syndrome, arthritis in the hips, knees, and ankles, and memory problems, but the end result had her hit her with RHD pretty hard. After her conversion, she had permanently dyed her fur a brilliant, neon pink and gotten a few piercings for her ears, much to the surprise of many people, not just the Chinese governments. In fact, Becky (the "westernized" version of her new name) was so outgoing and noticeable that Aiko decided to hire her for Ao Guang Resort, even more so when she started taking online classes to be a combination Yoga and Tai Chi instructor.
