Jeff looked at his mother for any obvious changes. It didn't take long to notice her skin was slightly changing color to a fawn brown. But then Jeff realizes that fur starting to appear. Soon enough, Jamie was completely covered in a short layer of light brown fur. Then her face started to push out, her mouth and nose growing out into an obvious muzzle. Her ears soon started growing, becoming much longer and pointed. At this point, she was looking like a particular animal. "Are you turning into a deer?" asked Jeff.
Jamie just smirked and said, "Just you wait." She had a twang of an accent Jeff couldn't identify just yet. Then he noticed that her fingernails were darkening and becoming a little sharper. Jeff could see she was getting claws, but deer don't have claws. Then Jeff heard a straining sound and looked down. His mother's shoes were swollen to the point of bursting. In fact, they burst open not a moment later, revealing huge furry feet with claws on the end. Jamie looked down with annoyance. "Ah, dangit," she said, "Shoulda taken them shoes off before I changed. That Chronivac can mend them up, can't it?"
Jeff could definitely identify Jamie's accent now. The Australian twang and the rest of her appearance added all up. "Are you becoming a kangaroo?"
"That's right," said Jamie, "And the best part is yet ta come." She bent over as her rear started pushing out. It soon became obvious that the strain wasn't just from her growing butt. Something thick was growing larger and larger before her pants couldn't hold them any more. With a loud 'RIP', her pants burst open, allowing her thick tail out. "Shoulda taken off me knickers too," said Jamie before pulling off her pants, revealing her muscular legs. Fortunately, her fur was thick enough to keep her privates covered.
Jeff had to admit, his mother did make a good kangaroo. Her hips and rear looked rounder in a pleasing way. Jeff couldn't help but notice her breasts also looked a bit bigger. Though he tried not to think too much about it, considering his mother was currently pantless in his room.
Jamie pulled up her shirt and said, "Lookee here, I even have a pouch." She ran a hand over a slit on her stomach that stretched a bit, revealing a new hidden compartment.
"I guess it'll be a better place to store things than your suit," said Jeff.
"Well, it's a bit stickier in a real pouch," said Jamie, "But this'll beat that dingy ol' suit by a mile. Can't wait till the tykes getta loud o' me."
"You're not going to the zoo like that, are you?" asked Jeff.
"Sure I am," said Jamie before going to the computer, "Just gotta make some adjustments first."
