Rick was disturbed from his nap as he felt Mommy stand up, shifting her hold on Rick, who grunted lightly at the motion. As he woke up more, Rick could hear Mama and someone else talking, and to Rick's worry, Mama sounded a bit upset.
"You're sure that this has to be done?" Rick heard Mama say as Mommy walked over to her, her voice worried.
"Yes, we're legally required to do this, I'm sorry," The other person said, a woman, by the sound of the voice. Rick heard Mama sigh, and felt her hand brush over his head.
"Maria, what's going on?" Mommy asked, worry in her voice as well, which caused worry to well up in Rick as well.
"They're...going to need to see Patricia for a bit, Ali," Mama said, while Rick felt Mommy clutch him the tiniest bit tighter, the pressure feeling rather nice.
"Can't they just do whatever they need to do here?" Mommy asked, before whining as Mama seemed to reply non-verbally. Rick felt Mommy shift him in her arms, before he was passed on to another set of arms, though it wasn't Mama's arms. Rick instinctively began to fuss, not being comfortable nor familiar with whoever was carrying him.
"I'll be back soon to inform you of the result," The woman holding Rick said, before Rick heard a door shut and the woman holding him began walking away. Rick started to cry, being separated from his mothers, and the woman holding him rocked him, but to no avail. Eventually, Rick felt himself set down, a blanket put over his lower half, before he felt himself rapidly increase in size, his lower half changing as well.
Rick was back to being his adult male self, and looking around he saw he was in an office of some sort, sitting on a bench, and older woman in her fifties sitting across from him, holding a clipboard.
"You are Rick McCallister, correct?" The woman asked. Rick nodded, still not used to being an adult again, and the woman wrote something down on her clipboard.
"Right, the reason you've been changed back, and taken away from the surrogates who were taking care of you, is that Maria and Ali Hendrix-Bello are planning are leaving Transformation Resort tomorrow morning, to return to their normal lives," The woman explained, as Rick nodded.
"You now have a choice, whether to change back fully, and go back to your vacation here at Transformation Resort, or you can remain their daughter, and start a new life with them," The woman finished, leaving Rick to ponder his decision. Well, he enjoyed being with Mommy and Mama, or well, Ali and Maria, but how much would change if he did decided to start over with them?
"Would I keep my memories if I went with them?" Rick asked, deciding to gather more information before his final decision.
"You would," The woman replied, "But you wouldn't be able to use those memories to fully influence your actions, instead your actions would be determined by a mixture of your memories, and the instincts of your body."
Well, that definitely but things in favour of starting over, but there was something else that Rick needed information on before he would decide,
"What would happen to my old life?"
"Your old life would cease to exist," The woman said, "Everyone who knew the old you would forget about you, and everything you own would be distributed among those who did know you."
Well, that certainly was a balancing factor. He wouldn't have to completely start over, as he would have his memories and all, but his memories would be of a life that technically never have existed. After a minute of thinking, Rick had made his decision.
