The boy looked at Jill and Bill, and then said, "Mom, why do I feel weird, and... and sound like a boy?" Jill's eyebrows rose and Bill's hand went to rub across his face, with both of them realizing that they had got the wrong girl, and now their sweet little daughter is now this 9-year-old boy sitting in bed, looking very confused. Jill looked at him and said, "Well... uhm... you see, we thought you were Ian and wanted to surprise him by waking up as a big boy, but we got you both mixed up and, well, we turned you into a boy." Then Jill sighed, thinking that her now son is going to have to go to the wedding as a boy now. Not going to be able to leave him alone when they go. And what about Ian? She is going to have to convince her to go to the wedding as their daughter, with it being odd them showing up with a boy they never seen in their life, than not showing up with the loved daughter.
She was thinking this while the new boy jumped out of bed running to the mirrow in there hotel room, and surprisingly seemed happy about this with him starting to hop up and down on the spot feeling his new short hair.
And on cue, Ian, who has been called Isabella since he has changed into the little girl, woke up having heard what Jill just said and looked shocked at what has happened, looking from the woman Jill to the now older boy, and said, "I am not staying like this if I have to. I was fine with it when I had no choice, but I am not going to a wedding pretending to be your daughter!"
Jill looked conflicted, she knew she could not trap Ian in her daughter's body, but she also knew there would be no excuse for them to show up without their daughter. Jill looked at her husband, who looked as well conflicted, not knowing what to do. She just said, "Please, it would really help if you could, please, we will even pay you?" Even the now 9-year-old boy turned around from where he has been looking at himself in the mirror and said, "Yeah, please, I will be a greater big brother and make sure you will not be bored and... and look out for you. I really want to know what it is like to be a big brother now, please?" With him happily fidgeting with his hands going over his new body and a little be awkwardly new tool.
Ian really did not want to do this, but then again, he really had nothing he had to get to now, and Jill did say she would pay him, and well, they did look like they really needed him to be Melannie, so she said “ok, i will do it, but for $200! "And I get to change back to myself once we get back here!!"
Jill smiled and said, "Done," and the new boy yelled with happiness, saying, "I get to have a little sister!" And well, it seemed Bill was the only one who did not seem to like that they are going to have to pay $200 for this.
But Jill was fast in saying what needs to happen with her saying, "Okay, Bill, take our new son to get a rented suit and think of a name while you do. Oh, and tell him what he needs to know now being a boy with his new... equipment and such, while me and Melannie are going to start getting ready and go over people she has met before, so we can hopefully fool them, and I guess I'm going to have to think of a reason why we suddenly have a son."
And well, just like that, Bill pulled his new son out the door, smiling with how happy he seems to be being a boy, and bill starts liking the idea of having a son, while Jill starts running around and started a bath, and then picking up the new Melannie/Ien, who was quite shocked how fast this is all moving and not really wanting to be in this body.
And thought maybe this was not the best idea to accept, and thought he could probably break from Jill's grasp and get maybe one of Bill's shirts or something, but well, he did say he would do this though, and it wont be that bad being in this body for another day.
