You walk into the Magic Shop, that you have noticed on your way back from your new school. From the outside it looked like a regular clothing store, but the name "Magic Shop" suggested something different. You were not interested at first, but when am open door allowed you to sneak a peak, you knew there was more to it.
So driven by your curiosity, you entered the shop to take a look. The door opens before your Hand reached the handle and you enter the store. It was packed with all kinds of things. Some seemed familiar like actual clothing, but others looked like they belong into another world. There was a sword resting on a stand that periodically burst into flames, changing color with each blast. There were numerous books with ancient looking symbols on them.
The most interesting thing in this store was that you were alone with the salesperson. You browse through the items until you find a thing that looks like a miniature version of a printer. It had no description like most of the others and so you took it and walked over to the counter to ask the owner like you did with the Fake-Death-Candy (If one is eaten the subject will "die" for 2–3 hours, making it perfect for Halloween if you aim for something more realistic). The clerk looks at you and smiles.
"You are the first person to ever show interest in this little thing," he said.
"Lets see. Ahh, yes. This is the possession sticker printer. You can use it to, well, print possession stickers"
You look at him, tilting your neck with a puzzled expression: "To print what?"
"Ahh. Forgot you are a first timer. These stickers are an interesting thing. You can slap one onto anything, and then you will possess it. The duration is dependent on the model you buy, but with the printer you can make the duration as long as you want. After the sticker is placed, it will suck you into it. 'It' can be anything, a person, an object, an animal, anything. But keep in mind. If you put one onto something that can't move, you are forced to stay 'it' until the timer runs out. If you manage to get the sticker off yourself, you will be released, if the sticker is removed by someone, and I mean someone, not something, the set duration will be multiplied by ten, and you will be released after that. Now you should also know, that if the sticker breaks while you possess something, it will be irreversible. We are trying to fix this, but we aren't making much progress. Lack of test subjects ..." he finishes his explanation, and you realize that you are suddenly very interested. Possessing something in particular really excites you. You are aware about the risks it brings, but will that stop you?
"How does it feel, to possess something?" you ask the clerk, despite having made your decision already.
"I have never used one of these, because the risk would be too high for me as the store owner, and I am unable to anyway." he answered your question.
"Unable to?"
"Oops. Forgot. There are different kinds of magical energies in each human. Most common are values ranging from -10 to 10, most people having -2 or -1. With a value of 0 you can see and perceive magical objects, yet you can't use most of them. Below that and you can't even have that. Everything above 0 and, well, you can guess. The higher your affinity for magic is, the more efficient you can use energy. For example, the burning sword you see there. Someone with a 1 can activate its flame state for 2 minutes at most. Someone with a 10 could go for hours and change its color at will, anything above 10 is just absurd and rare at that, and doesn't really change anything for most objects. As you might have guessed, I was unlucky enough to have a 0. Well enough with my explaining.
