Derrick thought as hard as he could, though his mind seemed to be a bit slower than he remembered. "I want to go home like this. If I don't like it, can I come back?" The woman smiled and nodded. "Any time. In fact, all you have to do is think hard enough and you will find yourself back in the stable. Just be careful that you are alone, or whoever you are with will be transported as well."
Derrick's father started to rage. "This is not acceptable! He is..." Then the man blinked and looked at Derrick, then flushed. "I am sorry, son. I was hoping they might be able to improve things for you, but you look just the same as when we came here." This alarmed Derrick, but when he looked he saw that he was still a horse-boy. The woman smiled. "Remember what I said, Derrick. You can come back any time."
The four Andersons headed back to the United States, and Derrick found that his passport showed his horseboy face! So did his student ID, and when they got home, no one seemed surprised by his appearance. Even better, all of his clothes and even his bed had been adjusted to fit his new form. Still, he was nervous about school. Sure enough, he was in remedial English and Math instead of the advanced courses, but discovered he was still on the football team. His position had changed to that of a linebacker, but his real contribution turned out to be as a sex toy in the locker room.
