With May around the corner, everyone was getting ready for Summer Vacation. For most kids, teens, and young adults, this involved studying for end-of-schoolyear exams. For others, preparing for summer meant preparing for other things.

Lexia was assigned to do coverage of Mieni Atoll's beach events, as well as coverage of Mieni Atoll's new BARA and ROSE Houses over the summer. However, she was making a brief stopover in San Francisco to do some brief coverage of the new Animalia District, which was well underway due to the atmospheric rivers of recent years showing which buildings could be torn down for Animalian-sized buildings.
Miles, however, was heading over to Renardville to cover their special event. While he also didn't know what the French Government had planned, he was looking forward to covering the new additions there.

In Heiya Prefecture, Ao Guang Island was making the most waves, metaphorically speaking, mainly due to how quickly it was to being officially opened. Thanks to Aiko and "Becky's" efforts, the island's primary attraction, the Dragon Palace Casino, was ready to be opened for summer vacation. The usual internet trolls were making claims that such a place would be a hotbed of espionage between China, Japan, and North Korea, but said trolls were generally ignored or clapbacked, but that didn't mean that there were those who wouldn't be taking such a claim seriously.

Another thing that everyone was anticipating was Animalia's first ever "Foxy Boxing" tournament. While this was nothing like regular foxy boxing, with safety being a major priority and a considerable limit to how many "sexual moves" were allowed, it was still one of the more popular events, with ticket preorders already reaching the tens of thousands of dollars.
