"I'm sure you heard what I said to the werewolf hunters about how I felt about werewolves and I stick to it. You can bite me at anytime." You reply and prepare yourself for any pain.
"very well. Don't worry I won't make it painful, just hold out your hand." She tells you and you do as she says.
Taking your hand she peirces your thumb just enough to draw blood and then lets go.
"There. Come back to us when you have transformed." She says and then turning back into her full wolf form leaves.
You remain there confused. You had watched all the Howling movies several times before and something was different about these werewolves than the ones in the movie.
Deciding it was worth investigating you decide to call the genie, even though you weren't even sure he would answer.
"Genie!" You yell out into the nothingness.
You wait for a moment but nothing happens then in a sudden burst of smoke the genie appears before you.
"what is it? Is this not what you expected?" He said in a very serious tone.
"Well, I'm happy that I get to be a werewolf but something is quite the same about it all." You reply.
"Of course it isn't." The genie tells you casually.
"What do you mean?"
"Well when you made your wish, I used my powers to see what would happen if I actually made werewolves exactly like you had intended and found out that you would have been killed, to say the least."
"What do you mean to say the least?"
"Well they would have slowly ripped you apart. So I created more peaceful werewolves who weren't bound by savage instinct and were looking for new recruits."
"So you planned everything that has happened including the werewolf hunters?"
"Yes, it was all necessary to ensure your own survival."
"But why bother? Why do you care about whether I live or die?"
"Look I am a keen judge of character and could tell that you were a nice guy besides no one no matter how evil deserves to be painfully ripped to pieces especially if they were only going to be tortured for all eternity in hell afterwards."
"Wait, so there is a hell?"
"Yes, but its probably not quite what you think it is."
"What is it like than?"
"I'm sorry but I cannot answer that for you."
You think for a minute than come up with another question.
"So why haven't I transformed yet?" You ask him.
"I'm surprised that someone who has seen the Howling films as much as you have, hasn't already found out." The genie said. "The answer is that in the Howling IV the husband never transformed until the next full moon."
"Wait so am I going to go through the same transformation cycle that he did?" You ask a bit worried remembering how he completely reverted into a puddle.
"No I didn't want you to have to suffer like that so I did a less painful, more pleasurable transformation sequence for you."
"So how are able to do this to begin with? I mean, I thought you had to do exactly as the wish specified?"
"We are, but I am allowed to fill in where you weren't specific enough. For instance you said 'like in '"the Howling"'' but you didn't say exactly like so I was able to change it around so that it only meant that there were werewolves and altered them from there."
"Okay one more question. Why has your attitude changed?"
"My form shifts so that its appropriate for the situation. When you first summoned me it demanded a fairly unserious form but now that you are questioning me I need to be highly serious."
"Well I guess that explains enough for now, I should probably go back home."
The genie disappears in a puff of smoke and you leave.
