Bryan curled into a terrified ball in the giant's suit pocket. How could this have happened to him? One minute, he's on top of the world, and the next, he's a tiny animal, running from rodents and at the mercy of an older giant.
He could hear the magnified sounds of the outer world and feel the rocking of the giant as he walked down the street. Suddenly, the sounds and sensation changed, and Bryan figured they must have gone inside. Only, the rocking continued for an awful long time. They weren't in a private house, then. He was right about the office, then. He turned around slowly and saw that the twenty-something giant was staring at him from above.
"You're real," he said, in awe. Under the intense scrutiny, Bryan realized he was naked and did his best to cover himself. "Can you talk?"
Bryan nodded but did not demonstrate this ability by saying anything. What could he say?
"My name is Derrick," said the giant.
Bryan couldn't read the expression on the massive face, but he decided he'd best introduce himself. "B-Bryan."
"What? I can't hear you."
"My name is Bryan!" the tiny man shouted, mortified that he had somehow become so insignificant.
"Well, Bryan," the giant grinned. "I'm very glad I met you. Very glad indeed. Wait right here, and I'll be right back."
And with that, the giant stood up to his full height, towering over his terrified prisoner...
