Yevgeney seemed to hesitate a bit, but eventually spoke up. "I've overheard that they are taking us to a horse breeder. There have been rumours that the leader of the rebellion, Antyny, has mentioned that he doesn't like the semi-monopoly that several witch families hold over the breeding and sale of Witch's Ponies. I assume this is because that meant he couldn't have one, due to his family not being wealthy enough to buy them and not breeding them themselves, but the reason doesn't matter. What does matter is that the leader of this rebel group wants to get in the new king's good graces, so he intends to bring us to a breeding farm so that he can present Witch's Pony foals to him."
Everyone felt a bit unfomfortable when they realized that, according to Yengeney's words, the rebels were planning to make Dimitri breed all of them, and a Horse Witch could easily compel them to do it in their current forms.
"Then we need to escape as soon as possible!" Dimitri responded urgently. Breeding his wife would still be acceptable, and both Sassy and Anya were already pregnant, but breeding his brother was something he'd certainly rather avoid.
"Don't worry." Yevgeney said, trying to calm his brother. "The breeder they are bringing us to doesn't employ Horse Witches, he doesn't trust them from what i've heard. And the rebels wouldn't trust any Horse Witches either, witches are usually tightly knit communities, so word of their attempt to breed their own Witch's Ponies of the Copperstone variety would sooner or later get back to our family if they were to involve a Horse Witch. We will simply have to pretend to be obedient, well-trained horses so that the breeder does not keep to close an eye on us, and then wait for an opportune time to escape. It will be easy without a Horse Witch or small army of rebels watching us. This will actually be a good opportunity to eat, get supplies, and get one last checkup before our journey to Wind's Grove."
The rest of the group calmed down after hearing Yevgeney's plan, agreeing that it was likely the safest option, and do their best to seem like the most obedient and well-trained horses possible for now.
