When you regain consciousness, you find that you're in a comfortable bed, being carefully watched by a middle aged man, as well as a very young woman, who daubs your forehead with a wet towel every few minutes. You try to sit up, but the young girl, w fetching young redhead, shoves you effortlessly back to the mattress.
"Rest yourself, my dear boy," the older man says to you.
"Who...who are you..what..hap-happened?" you ask him.
"I'm Lord Wulfhaus, Edgar Wolfhaus. This is my maid, Sunny. You broke into my house and nearly were killed for it."
"I didn't break in," you protest, still feeling weak.
"I don't know what you call entering a stranger's home without invitation, but I call that breaking in," he flippantly responds.
"Your dog..." you mutter, still trying to make sense of it.
"That was no dog, that was me," he says, "and soon enough, it will be you."
"What?" you ask, again trying to rise.
"I'm a werewolf, you fool!" he yells, losing his patience. "Each night, I transform until I taste blood, or the sun rises. The same for my wife, Sunny here, and Jeebs, our butler. And we can never leave the grounds, magic holds us here."
"But if she's a werewolf," you gesture to Sunny, "Why isn't she transformed, or did she bite me too?"
"Finally, a question worth answering," says Wolfhaus, smiling. "I am her alpha, and so long as I wear the signet ring of the Wolfhaus family, I can command any of those who I create."
He displays the ring on his finger, and simply staring at it, you feel an energy course through your body. "With one simple command, I can make her transform or revert. Such is my power."
"Noone is my master," you say defiantly.
"So, you need a demonstration, eh?" he asks angrily. "Then you shall have it."
