The tension that was outside in the courtyard had thankfully waned as everyone made their way into the throne room. Duke and Sasha stood to the side to watch what would unfold next as Wyatt and Sasha took to their thrones as Cheyenne stood near the Tepes children along with Duchess. Nyx was still holding her hand around, Lisa's finger as they stopped in front of the thrones.
"Lancelot, Ann, Cassandra, you may leave us." Wyatt instructed as the three of them bowed and took their leave. Wyatt noticed Duchess standing next to the children after they had left.
"You may leave us now too, Duchess, if you would like." Wyatt suggested.
"No, my lord, I would prefer to hear what this....woman has to say." Duchess said careful not to use any harsh words around the children.
Vlad touched his hand on Lisa's shoulder and encouraged her to step forward towards Wyatt and Kyra. Nyx walked alongside Lisa not letting go of her hand, and sucking her thumb with her other hand.
"Nyx, do you want to come over here with mommy and daddy?" Kyra asked her young daughter as Nyx shook her head and remained next to Lisa.
Lisa now got on one knee to face Wyatt and Kyra to begin offering her apology.
"I know I caused you all much harm and trouble the last time I was here. But my mind was lost before, I thought myself a different vampire then. When I returned here, something did seem familiar to me at first, but I brushed it aside. After....the attack, and I had separated Kyra from her own children, something I now regret dearly, I....began to see something in them. I couldn't understand it at first, until I decided to search the world for answers that I realized what it was. They reminded me of my child, the one I'd forgotten about so long ago. I know Wyatt was not born into this family, yet from all that I've seen he is worthy of living up to his ancestors. He has chosen quite the woman to be his queen. You both have given quite the gift to the vampire community, even in my travels, I heard about the king and queen who had five miracles, and they are quite the marvels. I know it will take time to earn back my trust to the both of you, but I hope to regain your forgiveness. I made the biggest mistakes under my former alias, but I want nothing more than to be alongside you as my family once again." Lisa said as she got down on the floor waiting for a response as she tried her best not to cry.
Before a response was made, Lisa suddenly felt little fingers poking her as she now saw the other Tepes children had come near her. The others seemed to trust Nyx as they all gave her a hug together. Lisa felt moved by the children more than she could ever say.
Wyatt looked to Kyra who took a deep breath and stood up and walked over to Lisa.
"While I would've liked to have been consulted first about your arrival," Kyra said glancing towards Wyatt. "I trust my own children. You are welcome to stay in the manor. My forgiveness, as well as my handmaidens, is something you must earn back in time."
"Thank you, Lady Kyra." Lisa said taking a bow.
"Well, that worked out better than expected." Sasha said to Duke as they all now left the throne room.
Lisa was shown to a room, where she decided to take a shower. As the water was washing over her, she suddenly heard a knock on the door.
"Lisa, may I come in?" Vlad asked.
"....Yes, you may come in." Lisa asked as she suddenly heard clothes being dropped onto the floor and was surprised to see Vlad standing before her now, in the shower naked. Lisa turned away in embarressment.
"You said I could come in, you didn't say I couldn't join you in here." Vlad said with a small chuckle.
"Vlad, I....please, we only just met again." Lisa said looking away from Vlad still embarrassed.
"We were husband and wife before, I thought this may help refresh your memories." Vlad said as he gently took Lisa's hand and gently kissed her lips, then worked his way to her cheeks, then her neck, and to her shoulder.
"Oh my...oh my god, Vlad, oh....I remember....I remember this...." Lisa said recalling the pleasure all over her body as she caressed Vlad's back, then kissed his mouth with her tongue.
"Oh, oh Vlad, oh...OH!" Lisa shouted startled as she looked outside the shower to see one of the children looking at the two of them with a little smirk and giggled as Lisa and Vlad now covered their bodies from the little boy.
"He...hello little one, uh, does....does your mother know you're here?" Vlad asked the young Tepes boy.
Just then, they both heard another voice as Cheyenne saw the bathroom door opened and saw the Tepes boy standing in the bathroom.
"Young Master Duncan! You're not supposed to be in here, it's....very rude. I'm very sorry, he's become a sort of mischevious boy at his age right now." Cheyenne said as she backed out of the bathroom.
"Oh, Cheyenne you found him. I was so...oh my! Duncan...you should not have seen....Papa and Gram Gram like that." Kyra said as she closed the bathroom door.
"Gram Gram?" Lisa repeated.
"Well, you are related to them." Vlad reminded her.
"Yes, now, where were we before we were rudely interrupted? Oh, I know." Lisa smirked as Vlad and Lisa embraced once more as husband and wife for the first time in nearly a millenia.
