The smooth curved beak of Thoths mask grabbed your attention. It was just so interesting with all of the details. You reach out a hand, and gently brush the beak. A bright light flashed through the room, and you had to close your eyes from how bright it was. When you open them again, you see that the mask was now hovering in front of you, and the hieroglyphs were gone.
The beak opened as a voice boomed in your head.
"I am Thoth, god of learning and wisdom. I have been trapped in my sacred mask for thousands of years, waiting for the right person to come and free me. You are to be my vessel, and together we will learn all that you desire. We shall become one."
The mask moved down towards you, and you try to stop it. You don't want to be stuck with this ancient god who would most likely take over your body. But it was too late as the mask latched onto your face.
As you were scratching the mask you felt your fingers, horror dawning on you as it's a part of you. As you stand there, you hear a loud voice boom in your head.
"I AM THOTH! AND YOU SHALL LEARN!"
You turned towards a mirror and looked in shock at your body.
You watched as your limbs twisted inhumanly as your body lost control over itself.
You watched as your arms bulked up with muscle, ripping your shirt while your hands grew long claws.
You watched as your skin became a light tan. The changes extending to your torso as it also expanded into a powerful male physique.
You watched in stunned silence as your legs also swelled with muscle. Your jeans ripped to shreds as your legs changed shape, knees bending backwards.
Your feet swelled into a size 20, easily busting out of your shoes.
You felt your hair grow out, past your shoulders, as your your nose and mouth altered.
You watched as the mask sank into your face, melding with your flesh and bones until it was fully a part of you.
You were leaning forwards panting as the changes finished. You were shocked by what you saw in the mirror.
You look in the mirror and see that you look like Thoth. You feel his power course through you as you heard the entity say "I have fused with your mind, and together we will learn about everything we desire. You are no longer you, but now a combination of both of us. I have given you an enhanced mind, as well as enhanced physical capabilities. You are now my avatar, and my power is now your power."
"So, you're a god?" you asked out loud.
"Yes, I am." Thoth confirmed.
