The first week of June was over, and there were a lot of new and/or funny things to learn.
---
One of the most amusing things to watch was when, after conversion, gay and lesbian couples had begun noticing members of the opposite sex. This was especially evident in same-sex, different-species couples. Fortunately, both BARA and ROSE Houses offered easy access to Homosexual Anonymous classes, though it was still funny to watch them react as if they were about to lose a limb (or, in this modern age, a phone).
As usual, though, the internet weirdoes and paranoiacs were making all sorts of false claims that Animalia was an attempt by the government, Illuminati, etc., to "deprogram" gays and lesbians, but by now it was clear that this was all just paranoid rambling just for attention.
---
Another amusing thing to witness was the Chinese Government's "Lotus Foot Program". While they initially believed that the RHS that "Ria" and Dixie would keep applicants away, it was turning out that the opposite was true, partly due to China's current troubles, financial or otherwise.
In fact, it was turning out to be so popular that even some men were signing up for the program, even though such a thing was never applied to men.
---
Another thing that was amusing was that the LGBT+ community were still struggling to place hermaphroditism on the LGBT+ Spectrum, which, in a way, was understandable since hermaphroditism doesn't really fit into any of those categories. However, the Meat Market was getting into the Pride Month act by having a number of herms working there. No doubt the ones with the most attention there were Bix and Inex, especially since they were showing off their "flank tattoos" by bumping/pressing their hips together.

Meanwhile, Joanne was doing a Zoom call with Cecil, her stomach a little rounder than before.
"So, how were things at the Dragon Palace?" she asked, humorously.
"Let's just say I'm glad for their 'no cameras' policy." replied Cecil, still reeling from the culture shock.
