The hours tick by without Jeff being able to decide what he’d like to try with the program, the teen groans, ‘I just can’t seem to make up my mind,’ he thinks to himself, he then lets out a sigh, ‘I guess I’d better head to bed. Hopefully tomorrow I’ll get an idea of what to do, it’s a pity that I can’t take the Chronivac to school… they really should create an App-version of it… oh well’.
When Jeff arrives at his school, which is a combined school with students between the ages of 12 and 17 years, the teen heads towards the school’s chop-shop to prepare for a project which is planned for the following day: the teacher had ordered an 2022 Cheverolet Malibu for the students to learn about how to take a car apart and put it back together, with the plan to customize the old car, like: changing the paintjob, upgrading the radio and computer and anything that the students might come up with.
As Jeff enters the chop-shop he realizes that none of his classmates nor the teacher have yet arrived, “he… well… this is a first,” the teen mutters to himself, “usually I’m the last to show up… oh well,” with a shrug, Jeff heads over to one of the chairs and sits down, staring around the empty garage. He then realizes that the car, that the teacher had ordered, seems to not have arrived yet, “I wonder what car it will be,” Jeff mumbles to himself, “teach never told us, he wanted it to be a surprise… aaaand I’m talking to myself… hehe… always happens when I’m bored… oh well,” what the teen is unaware of is that someone is hiding behind one of the shelves.
Quinn, a 12-year-old boy with short blond hair, fair skin, blue eyes and an athletic body, who is known around the school as “The Prankster”, grins to himself as he watches Jeff, ‘hehe… I was hoping that my first “test subject” would be Jeffy,’ he thinks to himself, ‘hehe… this will be fun!’
The 12-year-old had overheard Jeff discuss the project with some of his friends, Quentin had just discovered the App-Version of the Chronivac and decided to test it out on some students and teachers, pranking them. Quentin had sneaked into the chop-shop early that morning and deleted the teachers order of the car, then erased all evidence of tampering, he then hid and waited for someone to enter, hoping to get Jeff first.
Quinn grins as he aims his phone at Jeff, and soon the teen is scanned, the 12-year-old then opens the transformation option tab and selects “vehicles”, then scrolls through the list until he finds the options “cars”. The 12-year-old types “Cheverolet Malibu 2022” into the search bar and grins wide when the car pops up on the screen. Quinn is then asked to choose a target and he of course selects Jeff.
After selecting Jeff, Quinn starts to type in the changes, matching exactly the order the teacher had placed and that he had deleted, by simply choosing the coloring of the “car” to be beige.
Quinn grins wide as he continues to type into his phone, when he is asked if the subject should have control over his or her “new body”, Quinn declines, ‘what car is able to move on its own? Hehe, nah… it has to be as realistic as possible,’ the 12-year-old thinks to himself. The boy also disables Jeff’s ability to control the radio, preventing Jeff from “speaking” and letting himself known, not wanting his “fun” to be ruined. Quinn the turns Jeff’s awareness on, wanting to enjoy Jeff’s panic when he starts transforming into the car, the 12-year-old decides to not alter the reality, wanting everyone to wonder where Jeff had disappeared to. The 12-year-old then sets the duration to last a month, that is how long the teacher had planned for the project to last, so after a month Jeff should transform back to his old self, with a satisfied smirk, Quinn confirms the changes and looks up at Jeff to see what will happen.
