"Your body will now manage what would normally be a difficult birth with ease, Lady Iris," Olga said with a smile. "You are more flexible and durable." Olga raised an eyebrow at Mikhail. Mikhail swallowed. He knew what she was waiting for.
"Thank you, Olga," he said, bowing his head. "We are so blessed to have been given another child and to have Iris changed to bear our children without harm."
"Hopefully the two of you can produce many more children together," Olga said. "We need more Horse Witches in this world, particularly those with the high magical abilities of the Copperstones." Olga cocked her head. "Actually..." She waved her finger. Iris let out a soft grunt. "There. You will have no problem becoming pregnant in the future and will produce twins or more each time."
"We have always dreamed of a large family," Mikhail said. Iris managed a weak nod and smile. "Thank you."
"It is my honor." Olga bowed slightly. "I will now take my leave, Lord Mikhail and Lady Iris." The Horse Witch walked away. Iris gripped Mikhail's arm.
"Mikhail, what was she talking about?" she hissed. Mikhail explained it to her. Iris's eyes widened. She placed a hand on her baby bump, which had become even larger with the addition of a second child. "I will give birth to sweet little Jade?"
"She is to be called Jaelynn."
"That is a lovely name," Iris mumbled. She rubbed her baby bump. "Jaelynn Copperstone..."
"I am so incredibly sorry, Iris."
"You had no control over this," Iris said firmly. She smiled. "And I am glad that dear Jade is safe." Mikhail smiled back at her. She was such a beauty, and the moment was so tender, he felt the urge to lean in and kiss her. Before he could make that mistake, however, Olga returned. Iris looked at Olga. "You have something else you wish to tell us, Miss Olga?" she asked. Olga nodded. "Please tell us what it is."
