Before Jeff is able to decide, he hears the front door bell ring, “CODY, GET THE DOOR! I’M BUSY,” he calls out to his 10-year-old brother.
“YOU GET IT,” Cody yells back, “I AM IN THE MIDDLE OF MY HOMEWORK! WHICH IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR STUPID VIDEO GAME! LAZY GIT!”
Jeff and his brother don’t get along pretty well, they are constantly fighting and mentally at each other’s throat. The 16-year-old grumbles, “FINE,” he yells and head to open the door, his eyes widen when he sees his uncle, the brother of his mother, standing on the front porch with his 11-year-old son Andy.
“Heya, Jeff,” his uncle says, beaming as always, “I thought, since your parents are on a “child free” vacation, that I keep an eye on you and Cody, and Andy hasn’t seen Cody in a while”.
‘Maaaan… and I wanted to try out the program,’ Jeff mentally whines, the teen then puts on a smile, “it’s a surprise to see you, uncle Mike. You too Andy,” he then says, “please come in, Cody is in his room doing his homework, but he’ll be happy to see you”.
Andy, just nods at Jeff and hurries straight up the stairs to Cody’s room, Mike watches his son hurry away, he then turns to Jeff, “I still don’t understand why Andy suddenly dosen’t seem to like you anymore,” he says.
“I blame Cody,” Jeff grumbles, “Cody hates me, because in his opinion I am a “lazy git” and he hates me for some reason, we don’t get along. I assume that he told Andy something about me that caused Andy to start hating me”. Jeff shrugs, “anyway, would you like something to drink,” he asks, “we can head to my room and chat a little”.
Mike smiles, “I’d love a glass of Coke,” he says, “that would be nice, we have a lot catching up to do”.
Jeff smiles, “why don’t you head to my room and I’ll be there in a minute,” he says.
Mike smiles and nods before heading up the stairs to Jeff’s room, while Jeff heads into the kitchen to get the drinks.
When Mike enters Jeff’s room he walks over to Jeff’s desk, noticing the weird program running on the teens Laptop. Feeling curious, Mike decides to read the manual, his eyes widen the more he reads, a grin appearing on his face when an idea pops into his head, ‘this will defiantly be two interesting and exciting two weeks,’ he thinks to himself.
