This gave the mare time to inspect her all over, taking in her scent, similar to Leks in some ways but also quite different. The sensation was overwhelming, triggering Ladybug's motherly instincts very strongly.
Leksea was perfect in every way, from her gangly legs that would soon carry her over many miles with ease to her shiny bay roan coat with subtle dapples that resembled filtered sunlight through the trees. Someday, she would grow into a stunning mare.
Ladybug shook her head. No, she needed to snap out of it. Leks would never accept this. Only she was no longer Leks, right? She was Leksea, now. Perhaps, Leksea would see things differently.
"What am I thinking?" The mare sighed. Leksea still had Leks's mind, so there was no way that-
Wait. Did Leksea have Leks's mind? The filly she saw in her dreams showed no worries about being human. She played and romped about like any foal. If this Leksea was truly the one from her dream, would she remember being human or male? If she did, would she care?
There was nothing for it but to wait and see.
