Eileen considered the point about Ty being able to change this back for a second, and then concluded, "OK, go on!"
Ty smiled and put her power into focus, reshaping reality so that Eileen was a teenage girl her age.
She felt her memories altering and clouding over- her daughter became her sister, her husband vanished from her mind and her maiden name, Ferreira, reasserted itself as her true surname. Her early life in Brazil also altered, as she recalled having left at a much earlier age, and she saw this house as her parents' rather than her own. She even found herself forming new memories of her life as a teen- school friends from Ty's school, cute stuff she posted on social media, days out with a circle of friends, dumb fights and games with Becca...
Her room altered too, changing from a middle aged mom's room to a teenage girl's, with a more colorful make-up stand, various posters and trinkets showing the girl's altered interests. Aside from the T-shirt she was wearing, her wardrobe changed a lot to fit, as her clothes became ones meant for a much younger woman, again including designs and interests Eileen never would've worn, or even didn't grow up with, on them.
When her room had finished altering and the glazed-over look faded from her eyes, Ty recognized her changes were done, and asked her, "Was that alright? I can change things back if you want."
"No, I think it's good as is," Eileen replied.
"Do you remember your old life too?" added Ty.
"I know I was a middle-aged woman, but I don't remember anything specific," said Eileen. "I'm OK with that, though."
"Cool," Ty agreed. She considered whether she wanted to ask her next question, but went ahead with it. "Uh... how do you remember me?"
Eileen replied...
