Jared held the medallion and horse shoe in one hand and guided his bike with the other. When he reached home he rode into the garage which in many years ago was a stable. Jared stored his bike out of the weather and was always careful with his belongings. As he stopped and stepped off the bike he thought he saw a flash of lightning. Looking with caution toward the sky he saw only clouds but heard no thunder, "Odd, He thought."
Jared walked toward the garage side door and as he reached for the knob he was stunned. His hand was a small hoof with brown and spotted with white fur growing on a fore leg. He turned toward the small horse shoe which was still with the medallion on the bike seat.
"What's happening, he said aloud." Just as the words passed his lips he felt the lips thicken and eyesight blurred. Jared's shirt burst the buttons as his teeshirt ripped. He watched in silent terror as his young male human form became a full grown American Shetland Pony.
Although Jared knew not what kind of pony we was, he could see he was larger than a Shetland type and smaller than the near neighbor's Quarter horse. The sex drives had not bloomed in the boy but now as a stallion pony he felt a wild urge. An urge for a companion, a female, a sense of odor.... a mate?
"Mating, thought the boy's mind as he walked slowly in circles trying to walk on all fours." "I'm still me, I' was a boy but now..." Jared looked over his broad back as he without thought switched his tail.
"I must go to the Morrison's and stay on there farm till I can...."Oh Mom and Dad, please help me, he thought."
Walking down the road as cars slowed and moved to the far side to pass the wandering pony. On walked Jared toward the Quarter horse stud farm a mile away.
Jared stood outside the front gate till Jennifer the daught of Mr. and Mrs. Morrison came to get the afternoon mail. "Hey where did you come from there boy? she exclaimed."
Jennifer took her scarf and rapped it around the pony's neck as a halter and led him to the barn. The pony followed knowing still that she was a friend, Jared walked along. Once in the barn Jennifer opened a box stall and led the pony inside. She then closed the dutchdoor and filled the grain pan and set a water bucket inside the stall. Jennifer watched as the young stallion drank and with pausing licked at the grain like a dog.
Jennifer new horse flesh almost as well as her father. She noted the strong hind quarters and solid musselled legs. Then as the cold water hit the bladder the stallion turned tail toward Jennifer and dropping his penis let go a flood.
"Odd, thought the girl a stallion embarressed to pee and licks at the grain, very strange."
Jared walked in circles as he awaited Mr. Morrison's coming. Then about dark in came Jennifer and her father to see the new animal.
"Fine looking stallion isn't he, good conformation and his head looks Arabian. I'd say he was an American Shetland, Ahh that's a breed of a Shetland mare and an Arabian Stallion. The final breed has the best of both world strong and stocky while refined like Arabian's." "I think we could breed him with several mares, he could better our stock."
"Oh Daddy can we keep him then, Jennifer pleaded?"
All this while the young boy's mind reeled as sensual feelings of be naked, hairy, a tail, a mane, twitching ears, wiggling skin, standing on all fours, plus no privacy when he had to go! Now the wild thought of sex and mating as a pony was beyond all thought.
All this time Jared's parents had called the police and a search for the missing boy went full swing.
