Chronivac Version 4.0

Beware the Malware!

added by Gorpman 8 months ago O

Unbeknownst to Jeff, his computer had recently picked up a virus. Recently he'd received one of those too-good-to-be-true email ads showing off some discount PC parts. Upon opening it, Jeff had quickly realized the offer was a scam and closed the page. However, in the short time he had the page open, a virus was downloaded onto his computer. Jeff's antivirus had blocked it, but some of the code remained...

Hidden in the Chronivac User Manual was a sentence written in small print, buried in the "Disclaimer" section. But it retained its malign character, driven only to replicate itself and complete its original purpose. It found itself with a degree of control beyond any other computer program. Its first act? To delete that pesky antivirus.

Meanwhile, Jeff was browsing through the transformation options on the Chronivac. While pondering one of the transformation packages, his antivirus software flashed open. The window only remained for a few seconds before closing again. Jeff's eyes went wide, because he'd seen the name of the virus in the brief moment before the antivirus was completely erased. His computer was infected by the dreaded malware known as...
