There was really no question what he should do. For all of his immense size (now dozens of times more immense!), Scott was a nice enough person, really. He was tough but usually rather quiet, and he kept to himself more often than not. Since Scott was his only option today, Tim knew he should get his attention as quickly as possible. For one thing, anything could happen to a little man in a big world. For another, he knew he had to intercept the giant before he started fiddling with the box and god-knew-what happened. Lastly, Tim hoped against hope that a normal-sized person would be able to help him get back to normal. He didn't quite know what was behind his new, miniature size, but he did know that his resources for correcting it were rather limited.
So he had to contact Scott. But the thought of making himself known to the skyscraper-sized man was horrifying. He knew Scott liked him well enough, and he reminded himself again that Scott seemed to be a decent enough person. But who's to say how even the best person would react to a tiny person--his tiny boss, to boot--who jumped out of the woodwork?
Maybe I should wait, Tim thought, but the luxury of time was taken as he saw Scott start for the chest. Without a further thought, Tim launched himself toward Scott, yelling and jumping for all he was worth!
